The T7 is 115 lumens max, whereas the T7.2 is 320 lumens max.

On a tangent, these well known high street brands such as Maglite and Len Lenser are such poor lumen to £ value. My old AA Thrunite TN4A cranks out 1000 lumens and cost me £35 off eBay along with being just as robust, whereas Led Lenser want £33 for 320 lumens.
Looks good
Why is it so expensive?

Amazingly well made kit I have two they will last a lifetime
CEF currently have these on sale for £19.99. I purchased one last week. Not sure if its just instore tho but 2 different branches in Leicester had them
So what makes this a 'tactical' torch?
Would I be better waiting until they produce a 'strategic' torch?

It comes in black so you'll never find it in the dark.
There expensive because of the quality, The will last for ever. I've used mine as a hammer...
Im not so sure how robust they really are. They have glass lenses inside them so could break when dropped.

The glass is inset, so yeah if you drop it on a spike and from a height as it's toughened glsss.

It does not scratch easily though unlike many of the torches by the top brands which use plastics.

Main difference is the knurling and matt surface compared to the smoother P7, gives much better grip. Check a picture of them side by side the difference is pretty clear.

Well I'm glad some people know about torches. Hope this deal helped some folk out.
They never came back into stock at this price.
I got the T7M for a gift at £40 from Amazon. It’s 400 lumen max, came in a gift box, and regulated power if desired so stays at that brightness until batteries konk out.. a slightly unfair complaint levelled at LED lenser is they don’t use regulated supply so they fade with the batteries, which I would say is a design choice. The T7M gives you the choice and has other tactical modes
