Love the comments!! This would be great to put in my porch where I don't actually have a light, may actually be able to find the lock with this and don't have to fumble for a switch. Thanks for posting OP, may have to make a trip to Lidl!

Probably a northerner. They all talk like that and think their being funny.
It's in their nature.

I like it when two people of equally poor humour club together to make eachother feel better about not understanding jokes.

Also, their pertains to possession. What you wanted was "They're".

If by that you mean someone with an education then yes, that's what I am. Thanks for noticing.

Thanks for confirming my earlier comment and reminding me of the other great traits of the common northern ****.

They're smart ****. You don't have to prove yourself to me.

So apart from not being LED, and not having a motion sensor, it was very … So apart from not being LED, and not having a motion sensor, it was very similar? There are many of these available - search Amazon for "LED motion sensor" to see a few. In my opinion, the "Mr Beams" ones are the best, but they're more expensive then this (and perhaps not shaped as well for a wardrobe). You can get a pack of 3 for £24.50, which isn't much more.

Similar in use... i.e serves the same purpose

Midlander who lives in London. So you're wrong.
Well I got two of these today, both either have flat batteries or are DOA.
Just charging up some AA's now to test.
Bought 7 yesterday (putting new cupboards in bedroom soon). Bright enough and the sensor works well. 3 year warranty on them too.
Instructions say 'pull insulating strip from battery compartment' yet neither of mine had this...

Found some other AA's just to test. Yep they work and the 8cm detection zone is actually 8cm!
