Wedding venue wanted £100 to supply a dozen led candles for the church, just got them here for £20, AND I get to keep them! AWESOME! Thanks
Watch out - the Colour Resolution Index for these is >80. You want >95 to not be an annoying light that you can't read under and food looks odd under! They are cheap for a reason.

It's not all about the light output or colour temperature, CRI is what really matters and makes it feel like the incandescent bulbs of old.

It's a bit nerdy but it's why you're never really happy with the current offering of cheap LEDs

I'm assuming you work for Well Lit?

No, I don't and I have no connection to them except having bought their products on recommendation from a friend.

It is possible for someone to have an honest opinion on something without an ulterior motive, you know. You'll note that in my initial post I made no mention of the company in question and only gave it out in response to a direct request - and even then I made a joke about how expensive they are. But you probably think they work for them too!

To assume I did it for anything other than to help others on this forum says more about you than it does about me.

Is e27 the same as small ES? And do dimmables work fine in non-dimmable setups? Thanks

E27 is large screw, I think the small is E14
Dimmables work anywhere - in some cases, they may be a little less efficient than non-dimmable, depending on what type of driver circuit is used in them

Good find. Ordered 8 of the led solar candles for 99p each, original £8. Good for gifts.
Led filament bulbs are more efficient A++ compared to some LED lamps which are either A or A+
and since you will probably have these for a loooooooooooooooooong time, it might worth considering spending more on the efficient ones with lower electric use. check at least lumens not watts when comparing.

LED are much better than the fluorescent curly type bulbs. They might use a tiny bit more electricity, but they give instant light and give good light, not like the dim fluorescent ones.
Keep your Eyes peeled on screwfix too.
