I think I'll give it a miss

Just one of those things that has no purpose whatsoever.

I am on my second shower head and that has just gone so will be taking that back they do these every year but as previous poster reliability with the lights inside is not great.

My kids love this, can't comment on longevity yet though, we needed a new shower head, so gave it a go.

Does this come with the wall attachment

No, just the head

 lol funny

We have an LED shower head which was included with a full shower unit we bought (it's boiler-fed and given the price at the time, £110, and the company we bough it from, ibathUK, clearly Chinese-made) and it's been great. Yes, a gimmick (visitors can't believe it when they see it in action!) but it has its uses. Perforned flawlessly for over a year. The important biut is it was £10 more than the non-LED one so why not? Similarly with this one although this is probably the same price as a non-LED one....heat added.

I can't wait to try out the Foam, from Sunday spray variation...

Seriously, though, I think LIDL are also doing these at the moment, but they started on Thursday so there might not be any left. I need to go and check as we don't have an Aldi.

When I bought it, it did not work but I could not be bothered to take it back because they did not seem to have any more. Even without the led it worked ok as a shower head. Then one day it started to work and had done for over a year with no issues. To get the real effect you have to have a shower in the dark but it works well and does what I need so no real complaints.

Yayy finally, I thought my life was complete till now "fist pump"

I've seen these in hotels in Europe and always wanted one. At the very least they are a talking point!

Does the led colour reflect the water temperature?

I got one once it showed red when the water was too cold, green when OK and blue when too hot! Source of amusement for visitors until the lights packed in within 6 months. Got mine from CPC.

I also have one from a british company, paid £200 for it. Just after 2 years it started to flicker and fail. I contacted the company and they didnt want to know and wouldnt replace as they discontinued the product due to high failure rate. They said the high failure rate was due to scale build up over the years.

British company or not, your shower, like mine, will almost certainly have been made in China and probably in the same factory as mine IbathUk are a British company but they have their stuff made to their specs in China I believe (and their products are sold by many other companies). At the end of the day your shower still performs as a shower but just not with any LED light show.:D Certainly iBathUk made it very clear that the LED part of my shower were only guaranteed for 12 months. If they last 2 years I'll be happy TBH...

I was wondering the same thing.

Perhaps it's magic.

Can't understand the mind of the person that invented this though... I mean... just.... why!?!

They are powered by water pressure. Clever idea. I suspect the higher your water pressure the more chance these have of lasting longer?

I presume it's powered by a dynamo. Can see why it wouldn't last long though!

Purchased one from lidl yesterday same price as Aldi had to exchange it as the green leds were flickering it is powered by water that spins a turbine inside so no batteries

If the problem is scale wander if you could take it apart to clean if not to soak in some anti-scale cleaner.

FFS it's only 8.99!!! if you get a few months out of it then great.. *eye Rolling*

Oops sorry, my mistake!

Got home, got excited, got in shower, blue led came on, and then stopped.
Nothing!
Ruined the shower!
