Best deal around I think .. Anybody use this .. Looking for a warm white glow this looks bright white

Reviews are great. Might get some for the back of the TV.

Equivalent light output, 2W, according to the specs.

That's pretty rubbish for an LED strip, for LEDs you're better off looking at a specialist supplier, these big companies are too slow at stocking the latest models, and the technology is moving on at a pace.

I've got 3 strips in my kitchen that were bought from ultraleds.co.uk and these produce equivalent to probably 100W of halogen lighting, certainly enough to illuminate the entire room and adjoining openplan lounge, and thats just from the incidental light reflecting off the wall and worksurface. These strips cost a bit more but if the output is so much higher, it's got to be worth it.

These are for mood lighting thou and not to replace kitchen standard lighting

Not sure what the point of these are. If you use them under your kitchen cupboards, they wont give out enough light to be task lighting.
Mood lighting would be good, but where would you put them? A display cabinet maybe?

As discodaddy has suggested these are to add a glow around a TV for example not to light up the whole room lol

These are nOt task lighting or to replace main lighting back as mood lighting as a backlight glow under/on top of kitchen cupboards etc
