I have also had nothing but issues with this company, and I'd never deal with them again. Had issues, and spent months getting them fixed; gave them the benefit of the doubt when I saw some good deals again but issues once again. Good prices and great deals, poor quality and poor customer service

i guess not all companies can be 100% but it doesn't sound like you had a great experience, i had no issues with my order at all an the bulbs worked fine, overall they have good reviews on Trust Pilot etc

My experience with the company suggests that one should be very careful buying from this company. unused faulty goods/bulbs,bought 20 bulbs, they would not resolve or deal with the refund. promised to deal with the refund several times after returning the goods to them. Would never deal with them.

The LED bulbs in poundland are pretty good.

Fitted one today and it screeches like mad! Not tried others yet

Think Ill just polish my old bulb onstead ...

Beware of their delivery. They use a **** delivery company who will throw it in front of your house, if you are not around. If you are away for weekend or so, then, LED Hut have a 3 day policy. So, you cant even claim your lost goods if you report to them after 3 days.

It wasn't just myself that received haribo's then!

Found 25th May 2017Found 25th May 2017
Compared to their halogen equivalent these pay back their cost in less than 90 days. Never seen thelse at this low a price.

Screwfix LAP ones are very good

ones in Poundland are good quality, been using many for months without a single fail

But they are most likely lower specification. I would look, but bizarrely Ledhut crashes my browser.

Arrived today perfect for my needs.

I contacted them yesterday and they will be back in stock at the end of December.

Ordered these but obviously no stock, question is when will they be back in stock. Have emailed them will report back.

I was looking on their web site earlier and was puzzled by the fact that cool white strips were all out of stock... why is that? surely if so popular they should have adequate stock for a company of their size!

Absolutely fantastic bulbs. Retro look, instant on and really bright. Really impessed :)

Actually, I find more good value choice.

It was on some other clearance B22 BC bulbs.

Don't see where "specify option(s)" is, I have ordered without issues, basically ignore specify options

First time I've used LED Hut. Whenever I tried to buy some of the Clearance bulbs it came back with "Please specify option(s)" but there's nowhere to specify options for the bulbs. Waste of time. Won't bother shopping there again.

bought some in home bargains for £1.89 if you have one near by.

Well that's what I did and they are in the bathroom so I cannot appreciate why low wattage is a safety issue....my other small bathroom has 3 x GU10s fitted not MR16s...I just fail to understand why my 2007 build is so inconsistent...it has GU10s in the kitchen and MR16s on the landing.....the landing lights are never on for more than a minute or so or I'd change them to LED GU10sI

I just have the MR16 bulbs in the kitchen

Why not just ditch the transformer, replace with GU10 flyleads and go with mains GU10s?

Have you left any reviews on their website? The reviews I've seen on this product and the B22 one are all pretty glowing...

Wouldn't bother. Nothing but problems with the quality from this company. LEDs are supposed to last years, often upwards of 50,000 hours. Had faults, they've sent replacements and they have failed. Had tungsten filament lamps last longer. I personally source lamps from elsewhere these days.

Thanks op, I will try some of the B22 ones...

I migrated to LED lights and will offer my humble advice. Whatever wattage you think you need add another 10 watts on to that amount to avoid disappointment. LED's don't have the same depth as current halogen lights but do offer massive energy savings. The light given out appears slightly blue and not as bright or fulfilling as halogen lights so chose wisely. Hope the above helps!

Agree, read small print.

Ditto all above posts

quidco have declined to pay out saying LED Hut does not accept cash back claims? they bloody did at the time of purchase!

received my order of 10 and have kitted the whole house out with them. nice warm temp, pretty much the same colour and brightness as old style 40w bulbs. quidco tracked fine too.

Ordered 6 warm light dimmable...thanks

different fitment. The Lap ones are popular and come in and out of stock regular.

These are so expensive does anybody know how to get it cheaper:{

Ive been living in china for awhile and you can buy these for around £120-£150. so would be cheaper just to import it yourself.[/quote] Buying from China comes with lots of risk, faulty, shipping cost, import tax.

I thought this too, but there is a code specifically for this item "GLIDER" and it would seem strange of them to deny cashback when using a Quidco approved code.

Someone watched too much Casey Neistat from youtube :)

The bulbs I've had from Ebay in the past haven't been a patch on these, both in brightness and the quality of light outputted. Just a note though, to get the 5 year warranty on the bulbs you have to apply for it (although it's free).

Thanks mate. Will look into them. Halogens get too warm too. Will try them out.

They are not as bright as the Halogens but not far off.

Are they just as good as the halogens? just as bright ?

I bought one 9 months ago and mine is water proof so can be put anywhere outside.

thanks :)

same one was 9 quid in lidl a couple weeks back if they still have any. It's OK for the money but theyre lightweight and tacky compared to: a) the one from b&q for £25 b) the one from costco for £30 <--this one is about 50 times brighter too

Sorry I put it as reference as I bought one in store. Thanks fella.
