Great price for what I think is an absolutely amazing torch.

There are cheaper cree based torches mind you and i have a few of those but they really aren't the same as this

Too expensive for what it is
Each to their own I guess buddy.

As I say, I have a couple of chinese type variants, still super bright etc that cost around £10 each.

They won't last for sure.

This however is properly made. You can even feel it when you are taking it apart to put in batteries etc.
Bought similar from this company a few years ago and the switch stopped working after light use. Not impressed, Have seen better and cheaper friends have bought.

i have to agree with jinjur, these kinds of lights are a cut above the rest of the cheap Chinese ones. You'd buy them for the same reason you'd choose a Ferrari over a Ford Focus.
Hey @ZapGod they did revise the switch that was on the earlier models and i believe this has that revised switch

I use mine in the garage working on cars and it gets a VERY hard time. Hasn't missed a beat

That's good to know. I am still rather angry with this company though, so not ever trusting them with my money again as these are expensive items.
Too expensive ( button ends up faulty intermittent on/off/flicking light . ) Also should be inductive charging at this price
Flip......i really don't get this place sometimes. Deal going cold again despite what I think is a good deal

I know it's not a memory card for a £1 cheaper or an xiaomi "deal" but c'mon people

Losing any desire to share these days

See my comment Re: the button

And

Inductive charging? at 28 pounds? Also, how does that work when you are out in the forest and it goes done?

You'd expect problems with cutting edge parts such as switches, especially on a device as complicated as a torch. It's not an easy task to make them. You can't just connect a battery to an led and expect it to just light up.
I’ve had one of these for about 7 years still going strong. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for

Well, when its water sealed and also allows 3 different brightness levels on different pushes, its not just a switch is it?
Nearly 25% cheaper than other sellers = HOT. Take it or leave it
Well done jinjur

You can't win with the community here sometimes. You've posted an item that's cheaper than elsewhere and it goes cold! If it's cheaper than elsewhere it's a deal, heat from me.
Come on people whether you like a product or brand is neither here or there, if its the best deal around then it deserves heat.

Don't be too put off. I've got a LED Lenser H7.2 ( warranty replacing a H7), a P7 from about 2014, A P7QC from 2016 (won), a P3, and a K2, as well as a large number of Budget Light Forum (BLF) lights and build my own lights with custom drivers.

Yes, the perception is that lensers are expensive - and, I admit, that they are if you only look at the up front cost, but the warranty and support is brilliant, and in my eyes, worth it at this price ( not the "original price" marked up at £50 odd) and despite all my other torches, my default worker is the P7. It's been really through the battles, sunk in about a meter of mud, dropped from the top of a tree, and still just cracks on with the job at hand.

Perhaps it's time for a replacement? (Just don't tell the OH)

Which reminds me, I must get a replacement battery compartment for the H7.2...

PS - Use GIFT05 and knock another £5 off so a P7 for 23.99 - damn you, go on then.

by all means. The gift code is account specifc (hotukdeals.com/dea…686) so it's not going to be available to all.

Fantastic torch. I think I paid around this price for mine 3 year's ago. I can't believe people are comparing it to the cheap poorly built Chinese one's. Hot from me!

I entirely agree. Perhaps if people would just comment rather than vote cold for the wrong reason it would be better.
This is an awesome torch. Incredibly bright and very solidly built. Good deal.
Back up to £40 now........I am gonna expire it.

Hopefully it was of use to someone
