Description
The LED LENSER T7.2 features stunning lighting power compared to weight– the flashlight weighs less than 6.2 oz., .5 oz. less than the original T7, and with 320 lumens is 60% brighter as well. Battery life has been extended to over an hour on Power mode, and when dimmed battery life will last for over 25 hours. Tactical design features like the Fast Lock™ system ensures the bezel will keep its focus position locked in place when removing or placing into a holster. The end cap switch was enlarged and texturized for improved usability when handling with gloves, making the T7.2 an ideal flashlight for weight to output ratio and usability on the job.

Please note this is a professional torch, it is not a replacement for your phone light to look things under the bed. For that use, you don’t need it.

Thanks for sharing i just search Led deals just now and stumble on this post thanks

Love led lenser torches but already have 3 including my big bertha x21 which is like a search light 😁

Ooh good price. I have this torch, it's very good. Takes 4 x AAA so no weird size batteries. There is a relatively expensive bike mount for it so you can blind people as you cycle.

These really aren't very good. I think I bought one for the same price in a lightening deal - I returned it and got this instead:
amazon.co.uk/dp/…VG6

Granted it costs a bit more, although it's generally cheaper if you get it direct.

It includes an 18650 cell though, and charges through a micro USB port - so no need to buy a battery or charger.

Twice as bright as the Led lenser, much slimer and looks and feels more robust.
Much better beam pattern.
The LED Lenser has a terrible beam pattern because of the zoom (dark spot in the middle etc).

Also buying non rechargeable batteries is incredibly wasteful - both economically and environmentally.
And if you use rechargeable batteries, AA and AAA cells just don't perform anywhere near as well as a proper lithium ion cell.

You can't use lithium ion cells in the Led lenser anyway, it would have to be NIMH etc like Eneloops

So yeah, I'd pay a bit more for a Thrunite, Olight, Klarus etc. torch that uses 18650 cells if you want something this sort of size.

I appreciate all your comments and recommendations.
However and it’s a big BUT that is almost double the price. Not just a little bit more.
Many of us have eneloop type rechargeables in the house any way.
Though for anyone wanting a better grade of torch, your idea looks good.

You can get direct probably for around £50, maybe less.

So compared to normal Led Lenser price it's no contest really.
Compared to this it's only a bit over £20 more.
With no need for batteries or charger.

But you can also get much cheaper lithium ion torches, a similar price to this or cheaper.

Ahh, ~£45 direct, plus can get 5% off with code THRUNITE
thrunite.com/thr…-1/

So around £40

Only £11 more.

And much better in every way really.

Actually almost £4 delivery it seems, so ~£44 in total. Still

Happy days had my eye on this for a while!

Tactical? Does it plan out your day etc? The best way to approach your workplace?

Isn't there a chance of being stung with import charges due to the value if purchasing direct?

That would be organisational. Normally "tactical" torches will have a self defence strobe and perhaps a glass breaker on the tail cap.

This has neither as it's not bright enough for the strobe to have that effect really.

And a smooth tailcap

So yeah, not tactical.

Actually it was the T7M which I bought for £26.99
Better than this, and actually approaching a tactical torch.
More modes and glass breaker on the tail.
And higher output.

But yeah, it's £50 now, and this is £40.

And they're still not good.
