Cheapest it's ever been, I believe. Heat!

A few niggles but amazing phone.
It seemingly has the Sony IMX230 sensor so it is better than the Qualcomm version in this one aspect.

Build quality is as good as any other top end phone. There is no SD slot.

Just waiting for mine to be delivered, could you tell me what the battery life is like op?

Lovely looking phone but no micro Sd card slot, no band 20.

Thanks, looking forward to it coming. Heard the firmware is naff too. Apparently Google now sorts the most of it out??

I was thinking of a comparison to an 8, but this matches an 8 Plus.
Leeco cloned Apple by stupidly removing the headphone jack.

This is as stupidly cheap as that is stupidly expensive. It really looks like Leeco stock is being liquidised.

Arghhh, Mediatek chip, useless gps

Out of stock?

Looks so. The 64GB is there, a great buy if the code works.

32GB is plenty and great reviews on that site. Lets hope something similar shows up.

I'm so very, very tempted by these cheap phones, but Mediatek chips are dire. Guess that I'll have to stick with the more expensive Snapdragon phones

Overall, Mediatek is way underrated.
It is not open sourcing their chipset code that is the problem.
Mediatek suits Amazon for the Fire.

There's a few options postage wise but the one I chose was 4 to 8 business days I think

It's fine as a processor, but GPS (so Google maps, Waze etc) makes it a gamble - when it rains or is very cloudy, my navigation is a mystery tour!

This isn't even a deal. Was out of stock now in stock and its not £71.30.

What is that to do with Mediatek? Even where the GPS is combined the phone still needs a good antenna.

Hi, do you get this price of £71.30? When I enter code Paypal it shows me £79.31

The voucher code takes $5 off the price. It was 99.99 but seems to have gone up in price.

Back down in price and available.

Same camera as on some of the Moto X series.

Is that good then

^Yes, a top end camera. HTC used it in the HFC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition, a camera promoted version of the HTC One M9.

However most cameras are OK to more than decent these days. It just happens that anything noticably worse than something better gets called out and exaggerated with regards to cameras.

You can set low lighting by lumen level where the best one looks great and the 2nd best totally rubbish. Even the ones classed as real rubbish can look fine unless lighting is low.

One thing I do notice is that the Night Mode produces good photos in very dull light without even using the flash. It tells you to hold the camera steady so assume it uses a long exposure, ISO setting.

has it got nfc i.e. android pay ?

Great spec
Top quality camera

Just a heads up, got 3 (gearbest) of these for kids xmas. I've tested 2 so far and both had a terrible lock up reboot issue. Read around, and the fix is to update google play services; after doing that the 2 I've tested run great now.

can anyone recommend a good case for this phone.

After having this phone for a week I'm impressed but one thing let's it down badly; battery life is awful. Half a days use if lucky. Tried all sorts of fixes but I think the screen processor and ram are quite power hungry and the battery is not up to the job. It has fast charge though which helps. Suspect that is the reason this phone is cheap.

I've been using the Leeco Le 2 for the last 18 months and the phone is brilliant so I've decided to upgrade to the LeEco Le S3. I've been quite happy with the battery life of the Le 2 (it could be better!). Do you reckon the Le S3 will have a better battry life than the Le 2?

Tried a few fixes mainly down in the settings, also did a system reset. Seems to hold a day of light use but no more.
