I use mine on a plastic outdoor table all the time. No issues whatsoever. The legs bring it high enough not to allow any heat onto the table. Brilliant little bbq for anyone considering. Very versatile. There’s a good Facebook group aimed at these with ideas etc.
I’ve got one of these and have been impressed by how well it BBQs and the quality of it. Weber always costs more but is far better quality - using stainless steel and aluminium where the cheap Chinese ones use thin steel that quickly rusts.
Good bbq and well made. its a Weber after all. Enjoy.
Used mine for years on a wooden table - no damage whatsoever.
Really!?! The crap bbq i had was no doubt made of cheaper thinner material where I imagine more heat would’ve been dispersed and i had it sat on a wooden table covered with foil and other than the enamel paint melting off the bottom onto the table! there were no lasting damage or signs of scorching. I’d think the Weber would be much improved, no?
