Lees Macaroon Bars 70g hardly ever seen around these parts, but a bargain at 25p for a 70g bar. About 50% of normal price. Short date (April) but I won't have them in my cupboard that long. Bought from Northfield, Birmingham Home Bargains. May be in other stores???

The answer is no.
Although its called a macaroon, it is not like an English puff macaroon.
It is a Scottish girders type of macaroon, with a consistency that is closer to a bounty bar than a cake thingy.
And about 500% more calories.
yum.
