This sharing bottle is perfect for those special moments with friends and family. Leffe Blonde is elegant, smooth and fruity Belgian abbey style beer. It has a spicy aftertaste with a hint of bitter orange. Leffe Blonde ruby brown nectar 2 for a fiver can not go wrong

Leffe Ruby is a red, refreshing beer born of the unique combination of the typical flavours of the abbey beer and the delicate notes of red forest fruits.

75litre how much £

Ummm.... Love Leffe!

Sharing? No way! Good price for a great Belgian beer though.

the ruby is a strange one, very flowery, i preferred the honey one.

Leffe ruby! Amazing stuff. Christmas has come early!

I love the brown one

Nectar is the way to go

Had both the Nectar and the Ruby this evening....both nice but the Ruby wins it

Cant really compare them to much else on the market...unique and definitely worth supping though

If only they sold the Triple here.

Leffe blonde all the way!

Is it perfect though, for those special moments with friends & family, as claimed by the OP?

There's a better Trappist beer called 'La Trappe'. It's Dutch, I highly recommend it. Look out for the quadrupel, it's not available in tesco yet, it would be easier if they sold it there instead of online beer dealers.

Just in case anyone was wondering, they're £2.50 each in Scotland. Even better deal if you're not wanting to buy in 2s.

Leffe is not a Trappist beer. It is brewed in a factory and can therefore only be classed as an 'Abbey Beer'. Still lovely stuff though.

Leffe is too rich for my tummy

Ruby is def one step too far. And this cant be much more than 50p off !

iv travelled /stopped Dinant on canal barge few years ago

If you like Leffe Blonde, it is generally always £2.50 for 750mL at Waitrose.

Asda also sell the Blonde and Brune for £2.50 for a 750ml bottle. Love the Brune, but I'd like to try the Ruby

Very overpowering taste. To me feels like it could fuel a vehicle. Heat if you have diminished taste buds.

I've only seen Blonde and Brune in stores so far. Haven't had Ruby since I've last been to Belgium! Thanks for the find.

They're missing an absolute trick here, no idea why they added Nectar and Ruby (not that popular in Belgium) and left out the best of the bunch, Tripel!
Have a few stashed from my last trip to Belgium but come on Tesco, I can't make trips to continent any time I need to stock up! ;-)

So many good Belgian beers they should start selling over here... Delirium Tremens would be a cracking addition.

Mods if this is not allowed please remove - it is information for those thirsty for all those lovely Belgian Beers when back home.
For anyone who is near Kings Lynn - Beers of Europe has meant to have the biggest supply of beers in UK including Belgian Beers. http://www.beersofeurope.co.uk/
Belgian Beer Factory delivers with very low costs for delivery -belgianbeerfactory.com/. We used them very effectively

Of course would be great to get a bigger range in Tesco's

I suspect it's to do with the higher alcohol content in the Tripel (8.5%) and other beers. Any beer above 7.5% ABV is charged a higher alcohol duty so maybe they just don't think it's viable to sell them here.

I had a feeling it was something to do with that...
Just have to move to continent!

Nice...over priced still but nice all the same.

Thanks for the weblink. Ordered a gift pack from BBF so I could sample all their flavours. I can only get 2 flavours locally so this will be a good experience to try the rest of the range and then order in bulk specific flavours ready for Chrimbo.

They all have the same after taste of baked beans.. oO

If only they sold the Triple here.
