I know what you mean! But for me it's more the "time cost" involved... just want more free time to play games!

I'm in the 'slightly bitter' camp regarding the release of this premature sequel.
Best price i've seen so far though.

It says it's out on the 17th on Steam, wish they'd put the price on it already!

No need for bitterness over this release - of all the games companies Valve are ones you can trust to give you a great experience and good value.

I bought L4D while at uni and never got round to playing it until July because the uni network wouldnt let steam load and I coun't log in to tell it to go offline

also 26.99 at Play

Looking forward to this one.

I agree I bought LFD during the summer holidays and I was on it 24/7, I couldn't possibly buy this with exams in january. Ill hold off until summer next year. HOT nonetheless.

been this price for ages now same on play.com.... ordered mine like 3 weeks ago.

great deal

do we know what the price will be on steam yet? Given the semi-bad press, is it likely to be cheaper?

We're supposed to be getting a new campaign called 'Crash Course' today (delayed til 29th!), plus a potential new weapon or enemy. Free for PC owners

Perhaps I can forgive Valve a little now.

It's unlikely to be less than this on Steam, because Valve can't undercut the high street retailers. If anything it might be £29.99, that's the best case scenario, otherwise it'll be £34.99 like all the initial release prices.

Bitterness is deserved, this could easily be an add-on pack from what I've seen so far.
