Its a disgrace that sheep are harvested for their legs. In my village legless lambs left in fields are a real nuisance as they cause the patch of grass underneath them to wither and die, and makes aerial photography unsightly when I'm in my ballon taking newlyweds on romantic picnics a few years before their divorce.

FakeNews: Apparently they remove the lamb's leg without anaesthetic. - Crowdfunding appeal started for supplying prosthetics to all 3 legged lambs.

In Wales they Breed 6 Legged lambs for larger families..... don't know what they taste like as they've never been able to catch one

Can I buy some pot from you?
Was in Tesco today and all their lamb was from NZ. And it wasn’t cheap. Crazy that, with the amount of lamb that we have in Britain, especially Wales where I’m from, we are importing this product.
The picture is not of a leg, but a shoulder joint.

Kindest regards
Is this deal available now? Aldi always seem to advertise things they'll be selling in two weeks time.
Bought 2 yesterday in local Aldi nom nom
Do they sell a leg of mince too?
£4.79 per kg in Lidl if you don't have an Aldi near you.

Not cheap to you maybe - but cheaper for Tesco to buy from NZ than Wales so they make more profit

That does not make it right.
Funny how the environmental consequences of shipping stuff half way around the world don't matter when it's about companies making massive profits.

Grabbed a couple in Aldi - there was only a tiny box on the Fresh shelves with no price or anything on the shelf so nobody could see it was £4.49/ kg

I guess the box would have held about 15 legs

My Aldi 2 legs are British

Was £5/kg in Tesco and NZ Lamb is the best in the world, I don’t know how they can transport it chilled (not frozen) and sell it less than UK lamb
Just went into my local Aldi and picked up a 2.232kg leg for £10.02 and with a use by date of 6th April, no need to freeze before hand as it will be perfect for Easter. Heat added.
