Have a memory that that is the exact same deal Morrisons were advertising on TV, but maybe mistaken.

Its Tesco that are advertising on Tv :whistling:

I bet Jamie Oliver is going all angry at the thought of meat being sold so cheaply!

Asda are the same price- £3 per kilo.

they are all similar on the joints of meat like pork loin, beef and so on, even the fish is cheap

Incase you wern't aware, animals are bred on farms etc, not in the asda warehouse, so it's not impossible for Asda and Tesco to use the same farm for meat, however it may be a bit unlikely due to competition, but still, your comment is a bit stupid.

it's the way they cook it...

different supermarkets use different farms because they insist on clauses stopping them providing a competitor

A Michelin star chef like Gordon Ramsay who has 3 of them.

Michelin stars are what the experts give to very good chefs and you are lucky to get one, if you get 3, then you're the tops.

I don't believe you - never seen anything on a farm that remotely resembles what you find in the supermarkets. All the meat in supermarkets is little cows, chickens bred in their own plastic coats.

As if you'd bred animals on a farm - next, you'll be telling me the earths round.

cows come from farms, chickens come from warehouses.

I don't like asda's meat thats my personal choice I don't think its nice meat so its Not a stuiped comment its my opinion. I find their meat very fatty and tough so even if it was from the same animal (which is highly unlikely) it maybe a cheaper cut . So because you don't agree with an opinion you think its stuiped ?

Asda probably shades it when it comes to poor quality meat. But, in all honesty, Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsburys are not much better. Your best bet for decent meat is a good butcher but these are as rare as hen's teeth nowadays since the supermarkets have forced most of them out of business. :-(

totally agree

I think you will find that Asda use more farmers than most.
Poor quality meat comes from Morrisons. Their chicken is not very good.
Most of this depends where you are because supermarkets do tend to use local farmers.
I had some pork loin last week and it was better than the gristle from Tesco.
The best bet is to go for a butcher because the quality of meat is better and it doesn't shrink.

wasn't this supposed to be a deal about a leg of lamb ?

True. And it's well below zero! Suppose it proves that cheap is not necessarily good?

It's below zero cos it's the same at most supermarkets cos it's an Easter offer.
So it's not hot....

i thought it was just cold cos that's how the meat has to be stored ....

We talk and talk until my head explodes
I turn on the news and my body froze
The braying sheep on my tv screen
Make this boy shout, make this boy scream!
