I cancelled my Amazon order, not sure is I need those or not.

Anyone know where you can buy the card versions of these amiibo’s? Great find by the way heat added

I asked Amazon to price match as mine are arriving today, but computer said no, so they're being sent back. I was lucky to reserve one at my nearest Argos.

Who's swindling who I wonder?

Cost of production of these is probably under a £10, Argos buy them wholesale for about £25 each.

I went to a supermarket the other day and could not believe they were not charging wholesale prices! The profit hungry swindlers....

As far as I'm aware they only did animal crossing amiibo cards, they've never existed for other franchises.

He’s talking about the snide amiibo cards that People are tossing up using cheap rewritten NFC tags. Works just the same, however this time with some added crime.

Ahh right, wish Nintendo would just include them alongside the amiibo tbh, they're not very portable.

Fact is most people want the figures, but when for whatever reason Nintendos stock fail to match demand, its the only alternative. I know people with cards that they paid around £15 for a whole zelda set, but are still sitting there desperately trying to get their hands on reasonably priced Amiibo figures.

Still to this point I'm really struggling to understand how Nintendo aren't seemingly even trying to match demand.

They are. The Zelda amiibo have been in stock several times since launch on their website and amazon. If you have still missed them by now then you simply haven’t been paying attention.

About once a month, for about 30 minutes tops. When people work and have lives outside of the internet unfortunately its not all that easy to find. I'm luck, I'm often connected and have picked a few up for friends. I really struggle to believe they have yield issues with these things (their okay quality figures with NFC tags in...) and stock still (a year down the line for the older zelda amiibos like wolf link, which is still in relatively high demand) is hardly ever there.

I just find it interesting if any other company did this they would be slammed, but when Nintendo do it people defend it. I for one refuse to get into the amiibo ecosystem myself, I'm not invested enough in Nintendos games and systems for it. But for those who do I feel sorry for.

seeing this makes m feel cheated paying £70 from game because I couldn't get the nintendo or amazon stock.

I've ended up with 15 amiibo now which is great as it's got my younger family members into knowing Zelda Mario characters

At the end of the day, as a gift for the family £70 is a lot better than a lot of the ebay sellers were doing. They've been out of stock pretty much since preorders went live apart from the occasional cancellation.

Too bad you cannot get them delivered or at any nearby shop...
