I have the 3060ti version myself and can’t fault it.
80w bronze (took this picture from another thread by @SudarshanaVinod)
End of last year AMD did nice OEM sets on the 5600G with nice incentives back, some firms were doing them sooner then others.
1) as for the whole system it just sits right as the 5600G should do, it sits between palicomp RTX3060 deal with the 3600 at £840
and there price with that CPU booster to the main eventer 5600X at £930.00, however this 5600G comes short on the pali's 11400F little nice switch a roo for +1 over the ryzen 5 3600 on the same link.
2) the other idea and this goes for every single prebuilt which is less then a 3060TI..... ur mission would and always will be a flip to FE 3060TI, ur in a rat race VS others but U will or some of u get lucky before others, once u got, then u flip the 3060 out and recover cost and make a little "play the market at its own game".
very good find mate.
now the next challenge: Its payback for them: DAD / Mum can i get a lift? but now i want ur student discount in return kido!.

Because AMD positions the 5600G as a cheaper alternative to the 5600X, that was their answer to 'value' 5000 series.

How much did you pay for it, as reference?
My pleasure
Mine was 1160, only difference is a 3060ti, ryzen 7 5800 and 500gb ssd+ 1tb hdd

Sorry I should of added your name, but lazy on a Saturday I’ve edited now to credit you
Cheers
Be proud of your sarden84 approval stamp.
Thanks mate, I know you are the guru when it comes to PC deals on here.
If it’s taking you to a orange log in page, you’ll need to sign in to a student portal first
The deal is for the education store only.
No I am already logged into the EDU store. I get this message:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0.1; url=/maintenance/500page.html" />
Sorry, I'm a bit confused by what you're advising here.
Are you suggesting that you should sell the RTX 3060 in this and buy/install an RTX 3060TI?
The RTX 3060TI seems to cost in the region of £600-800, and surely you won't get more than £400 selling the RTX 3060 from this machine?
So all in, that transaction would mean that the system outlay is about £1100-1200? I haven't done any hardcore digging, but couldn't you just buy a pre-build with RTX3060ti already installed? Crustybake was suggesting that he paid £1100 for his 3060ti system above...
Bought from where, when and for how much please?

I can access is navigating myself, does this work?
ah yes, magic, cheers
No worries, just updated the link on the deal in case the old one expired. Thanks for the heads up
Haha, no problem buddy
I agree! I was looking for just the case before.
There are a few listings on eBay for the whole build but no GPU, problem is finding the GPU
Pretty much everything is standard, so potential changes, components etc are not an issue.
No it wasn't at all. It was deliberately released as an alternative processor for those needing graphics but unable to acquire a GPU. The 5600G is much different and lesser than a 560OX. Its because the 5600G is much much cheaper for Lenovo to purchase at wholesale. The 5600G should be confined to builds not sold with a GPU. The 5600G has half the L3 cache and no PCIE 4 support. Seems madness to me to pair a native PCIE 4 latest gen graphics card with a 5600G.
I won't comment much on this deal. Minds have already be made. Just know that those in the know won't be buying this deal. Or any Legion PC.
Yes it was... AMD announced they wouldn't be bringing 'value' processors to the 5000 series but the 5000G APUs could be considered a cheaper option compared to the 5000X CPUs because of the smaller cache and lack of PCIe Gen 4 support - which frankly, isn't important when paired with an RTX 3060 anyway, so it's just a 'cheaper' option for Lenovo instead of the 5600X or falling back to a 3000-series, which looks worse on paper. Retail pricing of the 5600G is less than the 5600X but they're not that far apart - the integrated graphics is useful but it doesn't stop you pairing it with discrete graphics as they've done here.
FE 3060Ti via the discord alerts is £369.99 via scan uk.
which is everyone's challenge to obtain, even if u are a prebuilt buyer.
--> obtain that down the line, then switch out any other GPU u have.
everyone should always aim for that. as that is ur ulitmate market comeback, if its not this deal or one of the prebuilt deals ive done on here, that should always be the after flip challenge.
some get lucky early, some find it impossible cos there not on at the time, but that should be everyone's mission after as that is the comeback rule on it.
Not really that hard to read .. you need to know a little bit about computer parts...but is it really that hard to understand the post?? No..... I will summarize for you...
A 3060ti founders edition is around £369... It's via scan uk and sells out quickly. There are apps you can use to get alerts for these but even still it's hard as they sell out fast. I managed to get one of these when they were posted on here before scan was not allowed as a retailer, so it very possible. If you get one you can easily sell your 3060 from this for £400+
Now that wasn't hard was it
Bought from the same place as thus, through the student portal directly from Lenovo
Sorry, for £1070, and mid Jan 2022
Which app are you using for alerts please? I've got hotstock, but that doesn't seem specific to ti cards.
As I said I didn't use an app it was posted here... But many are using discord and then you can subscribe to alerts for specific things... @sarden84 is probably the best person to advise you on the alerts side
Probably because they know a large number of sales will just pull out the Graphics card and sell the rest of it on Ebay, so this will at least allow a functioning computer to go out with the Lenovo name.
I have the 3060Ti version and there is no HDMI output except from the graphics card so looks like it would not be possible to use this without a graphics card. Need someone with this build to confirm this or hopefully (for you) confirm there is a seperate HDMI output?
Just say "please check out my pimped out gaming setup" instead of "I have the 3060ti version myself and can’t fault it."
Sounds more honest. Cool setup though!
More like here’s a real world picture of the computer so you can see what it’s like.
I don’t have anything to gain from likes on the internet, but I do want to help people find a deal and save money
It was a bit of playful banter, you could have said " I have the 3060ti version myself and can’t fault it." without the image which would have been just as informative, the fact you chose to attach the picture would suggest you also wanted to show your setup.
Nothing wrong with that, it looks sweet.
