4.4% cash back on Hamleys plus you have to pay fees on selling free Lego sets and pay postage etc…. 135 with cash back is an easy purchase from Hamleys I think the deal holds up really well. Plus VIP points means you have to buy from Lego at rrp. So 105 claim is a bit false with respect….

VIP points are worth 5%, TCB is currently 5.95%, so that doesn't add up to 15%... And unfortunately the second GWP is for over £160, and this set is £159.99, so you need to add something else to get it over that. The GWPs have no appeal to me, but they'd be good if you have kids... admittedly they seem to be going for a good bit on ebay, but I have no idea why

Same decision I’m trying to make, I’m probably going to go for the shuttle, I low-key feel like they may reduce it

I bought from Lego and after fees (used 80% off code) and delivery (which buyer pays for) mine cost £112 net. VIP points are an added bonus and will just recycle them to take money off the next big item with GWP. Dead easy, one trip to the post office, but the Hamley’s one is still a decent deal and I probably would have bought at that price had the Lego deal GWP deal not been on. Either way it is a decent deal for an excellent set.

Please remember that a lot of people just want the set at the best price and not have to sell other sets to save more. Remember time is money so this is the cheapest deal currently but Lego is an option if you want to put the hours in….

I agree it is not for some, but two minutes to list both items and a 10 minute round trip to the post office. Easy money really, but I do get your point 🏻
