Been wanting to get my boys these for Xmas but are these a good deal?
I recall getting some on offer a while back – SW and City, IIRC, for myself and Mrs G. And mini-G had the City one last year. As they creep towards 30 quid, I’d be a bit cautious. But for closer to 15, they’re not bad. Half a dozen or so minifigs, and then a bunch of other builds that can be used in existing sets (or just on their own). Friends is a bit different, going for a tree ornaments vibe, although you still get a minimill and a couple of robots. More expensive than chocolate, but a lot better, too!
Do they have the Harry Potter one?

Edit: Didnt notice it was a online link!

Voted hot.

Is it me or does the Star Wars one look a bit underwhelming? Think it got panned last year too.

£25 for the Star Wars so you would pay £50 for three what is a fantastic price if you ask me.
Includes the new Harry Potter calendar. Lots of minifigures and a Lego Turkey! Hot!

Thanks for this. Not had a calendar for a while, got two on the way now and a free Yodas hut.
Been checking the last few days for this but the calendars weren’t on it, then checked this morning and they were but they didn’t have the Harry Potter one, now the Harry Potter ones appeared 👌🏻 only annoying part is haven’t been in store yet to reactivate my student discount so would of got another 10% discount 😔
Just bought one of these for 17.99 inc vat at costco

The 3 for 2 on Lego advent calendars is as good as it gets without having to resort to last minute price reductions. From memory Tesco and Sainsbury's reduce them to about £10 or £12 when they want shut of them.
Hopefully J Lewis or Amazon will price match. After HPoter thou waiting to see what the new store opening offers will be for Southampton..

Yes, if you can find them in your local, mine didn't have them last year at discounted price, but saw many people mention cheap calendars in December from other towns.
Got about 5 or 6 of the very first one of these. May get that out me thinks! Hehehe.
You are mad if you pay this for an advent calendar

A rather obvious and redudant point.

Thanks, bought 3 for the grandchildren.

Not a redu(n)dant point at all
I was obviously replying to you half alluding to waiting until shops sell it off for a cheaper price, rather than missing out on this deal.
Ooo might have to order and spend some of my £300 of points I have accumulated!!

The SW ones have gone downhill, I’ve picked up the HP one this year as the models look great, think they just exhausted the star wars range...
Waste of money. These will all be sub £10 in a few months. Patience n
Tempted for that Star Wars advent and I might try out the Harry Potter one, but now what do I get for free that is £25 or less?

Hmm the City diving boat? Yeah

Thanks for posting, heat added

My son wants a Lego Star Wars one. In previous years daughter wanted a Friends one and this would have been a good deal.
With the 3 for 2 the price per piece for each set is:
Lego City 6.55p
Lego Friends 4.64p
Lego Star Wars 5.95p
Lego Harry Potter 5.46p

Even at a discount the sets are hovering around the lower end average of ppp for most new sets. This is a nice gift for kids but nothing special regarding a lego collection or for purchasing for pieces.

Where are you getting those prices from?
My Harry Potter calendar was removed from my basket as it sold out whilst I was choosing my 3rd item...gutted. Just have to keep looking for more stock.

Er not sure how you've come to those figures... Works out at £15-16 a set.

The poster is talking about price per piece, not price per set.
