I think you missed "somewhere" in that sentence.

If you look at the "£24 on Amazon" deal you'll notice it's currently £30 on Amazon.

So knowing *where* it is £24; is pretty useful. The kind of thing a deals website might be good for.
"Rally car"? This would abysmal in a rally of any kind!

The point is that it is always at this price somewhere, so it’s not a deal, it’s what the product normally sells for. And it’s been this price at Smyths before. And Argos. And cheaper on Amazon. And eBay. For the last 9 months.

If it gets cheaper somewhere, then that might be a deal, otherwise it’s just it’s normal selling price.

It would be like posting Pringles at £1.25 as a deal. It’s not, they are always that price somewhere. Nobody pays £2.50 for Pringles, it’s not their market value.

Yet you post deals like your Radox one? What's the difference? Always same price.

Because it isn’t?

They are £1 in supermarkets, but not delivered. And also, people are isolated. Maybe you aren’t aware of the lockdown situation? Obviously you didn’t read the deal.

And so no, Radox isn’t always that price delivered. That Lego set has been £23 for at least 9 months. And it has been posted 18 times.

There hasn't been lockdown for weeks especially in England. 98p in superdrug = £5.88 for 6 delivery or no delivery. Stop trolling, has this given you satisfaction? You must be very bored.

Ahh... you’re a complete idiot. That explains it.

There is still a lockdown in place in England, and I posted that deal two weeks ago, when there was also still a lockdown in place, just like there is today.

It’ll offset paying the higher price for this Lego set I guess.

Also, the thick bit was in reference to the fact that you think there hasn’t been a lockdown going on.... but I wouldn’t expect someone like you to understand that. 🐷

That's a crap analogy.

I don't go out of my way to buy Pringles, if they are £1.25 when I'm doing my shop I might buy them, if they are £2.50 I won't bother and I'll get Krttle Chips instead.

I'm not going to drive around to find them, there is no utility in doing so.

However something like this, I'm buying it for my nephew for his birthday, I'm time bound, there is utility in having it in the next few days, so knowing what the current deals on it are, including the location, has value.

Hence the heat.

My point is that it has been this price for at least 9 months at one retailer or another. If anyone has paid more than £23, then they’ve over paid.

And HUKD has a search feature.
Around £24 is often the typical price for this. I think a reduction to £20 isn't far off.
Retirement date has been put back 12 months due to COVID-19 as there's still over 2,400,000 units unsold in the Belgian, Czech, Dutch and UK distribution centres. Expect huge discounts closer to Xmas and limit 30 on Amazon.
Voted hot re price, but must be one of the worst cars they have produced, looks nothing like a Corvette.

Looks aside is the build good? Not bought it myself yet and never built a technic.
Back on topic... - great set for the money with a lot of alternative build possibilities. Heat!

This is true but there's a lot of parts included for the price which can make some really nice alternative models. Check out rebrickle, there's a nice looking le mans racer or F1 car you can build
That's one ugly looking Lego model, some of the other cars look half decent, but not this..
It’s a great set, especially the models you can make via the instructions on YouTube.
