Really wanted this but the App control puts me right off.

I assume at some point in the future the app won’t be supported and it’ll no longer function properly.

You may be quite correct with this assumption. It has happened plenty of times before with other firms. Hopefully though, with all the Lego fans, there’ll be a home brew remote of sorts knocked up should this actually happen to this control system.

Great set and a great discount! Just bear in mind you'll need a lot of batteries (12 AA batteries) to power this huge juggernaut of a Technic set.
Finally took the plunge as a lockdown project. Got £9 back through Quidco too.
I got 29.99 back - result!
This is one big set, I got one last time around. The box is huge!

I'm sure by that point you'll have an old Android phone kicking around that you could use solely for that purpose
the regular price for store owners is approx £175net for bulk orders so there is a still room for improvements.
So we might see it going cheaper than this.
inside info from colleague who is also running a toy stores chain in Poland.

Wow

Wow

pretty much sums my reaction when I was told how much retailers pay for UCS Millennium Falcon.
approx £350net for each box. Minimum order quantity 10 - for those businesses.
Thats why LEGO in Poland is dirt cheap, beacuse businesses are constantly undercutting themselves.
Does not apply to certain lines like for example IDEAS where profit margin is significantly smaller.
but still.

Wish I could afford this, my dad would love this. Looks at all those engineer type parts.
Great price already got
One but it’s a long build tho
Does it come pre built?
Whoops just clicked on buy now :-)

It’s Lego, what do you honestly think?

£300 and it's self assembly. Cold for me
I have as much chance of my wife approving this purchase as with the £600 Falcon. Want both but having to make do with Duplo for my daughter... she will grow to love Lego if it kills me!

Save a copy of the apk file to your computer, this way you’ll always have the app even if it’s removed from the App Store down the line. Keep an old android phone as well something compatible with the current version of android.

It's Lego. Self assembly is it's entire point.
I would quite like this build but with the Falcon when it came out and the Land Rover last month think i might be pushing my luck with the wife... That and i also want the Star Destoryer.... as well. I can always look longingly at the pictures.,

Surely not the Star Destroyer - lots of people say it's a boring build. Nice to see in a film but a bit grey (compared to what you could get instead).

Land rover looks quite dusty/plain but from the reviews it seems like a superb build with looks of stability! I got this because it seemed like more bang for your buck parts alone are well worth it!

Land Rover was a great build to be fair, dones't look the most exciting but i build these for the build experience and not to put them on a shelf to just look at and then re-build every now and then. May get this one day if it ever drops lower.
