4108 pieces I can only imagine will take sometime to build, at £309.99 seems to be best price yet for this set

Build and explore this remarkable LEGO® Technic™ reproduction of one of the world’s most impressive hydraulic excavators, the Liebherr R 9800. Developed in partnership with Liebherr, this replica model is controlled via the LEGO TECHNIC CONTROL+ app and comes with an array of advanced app-controlled features and functions that put you in complete control. Choose from 4 different screens with cool graphics that add to the super-realistic play experience. Drive forward, reverse, steer via individual track control, rotate the superstructure, extend, raise and lower the boom, and open and tilt the bucket at the touch of a fingertip. Select an on-screen drag pattern for the boom and see it respond to your command.

Use pre-set commands or record the excavator's actions to create complex sequences of movements, then turn up the authenticity with real Liebherr R 9800 sound effects—all from the comfort of your smart device! And when you're ready, you can test out your skills in the app's challenges and achievement section—how many reward badges can you collect? This high-fidelity replica is packed with true-to-life, brick-built details, such as hydraulic tubing and pumps, cooling vents, a fire extinguisher system and a detailed operator’s cab with seat, joystick and control panel. A classic colour scheme with intricate sticker detailing adds the finishing touch to this magnificent LEGO construction toy for kids and grown-ups.

I think I paid £285 in Nov, best set I've ever owned.

No, I have 100's. My top 3 builds are Ninjago City, UCS Falcon and this. This just beat NC for build enjoyment. Obviously Falcon wins in size, presence and status.
