I was in my local store today and spotted this amazing deal! I bought the only one in that local store but wanted to try and get another one as a present. I telephoned another store and managed to reserve another one, it also gives you the option to order into store if stock unavailable but not sure if you'll still get this price but worth a try.
You will need your local store number and this item's catalogue number (no. 247/9828)

Is there any other older lego sets you can find like marvel or dc? Thanks
Google the number for your local store. On the automated line, make sure you note the given store number, then use this together with the catalogue number to check stock availability.
Jealous I only managed to get the AT-AT
When I tried calling one of my local stores, the automated system told me there was no stock available but I could order it in within a couple of days. I did not pursue that line of enquiry but tried another store. I guess you have to follow the automated system through to it's conclusion.
Ok, thanks for the quick reply - much appreciated xx
doesn't give me that option. only tells me there is no stock.
Good luck fellow Lego Star wars fan !
Just google what you want, for example...... lego 75054 argos will being back a cached link to the old Argos page and Argos use their product codes in those links
How did you get the product codes?
Old catalogues?
Hi fonzie - our store has the newer style touch screen machines in store where you can check stock by typing in search words e.g. "Lego star wars" . It then shows what sets they have in stock - so you don't need the product codes. They're much better than the old blue stock checkers where you need the individual argos item code, which makes them no good for a general search. I thought most stores had updated to those new machines now - does your store still have the old type machines?
If you know which set you want, go to Google, for example type...... lego 75054 argos and search...
The 2nd link that comes back is the cached Argos link of argos.co.uk/sta…htm
While that link does not work, it contains the Argos product number for the item, that being 2479828.
My local stores have these as well, but wasnt sure if they show stock from older catalogues?
