Heat from me. Think £60 is my biting point for this one, since I've already got a lot of unbuilt Lego Harry Potter!
Cheaper on very.

Yeah , I’ll wait for £60 🤞
nice
Thanks
Those waiting for this to go to £60, is it worth waiting however long it takes to save £5? I looked back at the past pricing for this set and it's been under £60 twice, but not by much, with the past lowest price being £54.49. And that was back in mid November.

Either way, this is a pretty good price; pretty large, and lots of minifigures and pieces.

I totally get that argument! However I'm currently stuck at uni due to lockdown and have the Hogwarts Great Hall, Hogwarts Express, Quidditch Match and Dragon Boat Race sets sitting at home due to bargain impulse purchases (I was super excited to build them over Easter too ) so unless it's an absolute steal (as in, it will never go down to that price again) I can't justify it right now. Plus I wanna appreciate the sets at home before I move onto more. And also I have exams to revise for so have to resist getting too much Lego!

It will definitely go down to around this price again (in fact I posted a £61 deal from Amazon Germany for this a month back while the pound was strong, and it was also 30% off in Debenhams while it was in stock), so I'm not gonna miss out waiting a little while. If it goes down to £60 or lower it's a win-win! So it's not so much a biting point more an acceptable impulse buy point

Thank you for the advice though and for checking past prices, I completely get where you're coming from.

Edit: wait I also have the Graveyard Duel at home. Which I think proves my point if I'm forgetting what I've already bought!

Nice set, but i'll only get it when its below £50 and if i doesn't then i will happily pass on it. I like it but I can live without it, im sure somewhere at some point will have it £50 or less.

Surprised you think it could go that low. The Great Hall hasn’t gone below £60 in getting on 2 years I don’t think has it? And this is only slightly cheaper than the RRP for that.

Tells you how much I want it lol.

(Not that much, only for the right price)

Ah that's fair enough, that's a lot of sets in your backlog! That really sucks so much though that you're stuck where you are so I totally get you. It's probably likely the price will go down even further than £60 as it gets older; there's been very weird "reduced to clear" kinds of prices lately like the Knight Bus which was legit reduced to a measly £7.50 in some Sainsbury's. It's pretty much playing a smart waiting game for most of these sets, especially the rally big ones; I had a feeling about the Bugatti Chiron set when that came out and sure enough that went down greatly during Black Friday 2019. Though I still didn't go for that, despite the massive £155 reduction on the RRP as I felt it was too much of the same flaws as the big Porsche 911 GT3 RS set, while bringing over flaws of its own. And it just seemed to be lacking in something compared to the 1989 Batmobile that awkwardly came out at the time.

Yeah and it’s the perfect time for some Lego right now as well! I saw that Sainsbury’s deal but the Sainsbury’s here had a rubbish Lego selection. I dread Black Friday this year as there’s a lot of large sets like Pirates of Barracuda Bay I’ve got my eye on!

Yeah very much so! People are buying them up! Ugh that's a bit lame. Same I've got several large sets on my radar, like what you just mentioned, Dom's Dodge Charger (but only when it gets discounted as Technic never does well in holding their prices and always gets heavily discounted), The Playable Piano, and (if it gets approved) The Legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild Stables.
Not a huge HP fan, but thought I'd stop by and say how heartened I was by the civilised discussion on this deal.

Sorry you're couped up in lockdown Sammy. Hope you get home and build your other sets soon.

I bought this from Debenhams at the start of lock down along with 2 other Lego packs and they never ever sent this one to me. I’ve tried to to contact them but their customer service is understaffed (understandably) so I’ve had no response at all from them in 6 days. So do I buy this from IWOOT or wait and see what happens with Debenhams. I don’t want left with 2 but also really want this item

I’m not personally sure what you should do but sort it out quick as they’re entering administration...

Thanks Well it's not like I'd have been able to see anyone much anyway, or show anyone the Lego. Given me a good opportunity to get work done here and then when I get home I'm actually able to see people!
