Very good price but Book People have been rubbish recently, placed an order and it took 3 weeks for them to dispatch. Look at all of the recent reviews on Trist Pilot

Because they laid 155 people off probably. They're in administration and being wound down by the administrators now. But they're still taking and fulfilling orders to get as much return from their stock as they can.

As long as you're not in a hurry it should be OK, in theory. If they did suddenly pull the plug, it should be possible to do a chargeback.

Wow. What a junk
This deal is miraculous... I'm tempted to buy more but I'm wary of the comments (also use code AFBOOK30 if ur spending £30+ !)
I made a order last week and received this week no probs.
Made an order over 2 weeks ago- contacted them Monday as hadn’t been dispatched and they told me there was a 10 working day dispatch time on all orders I then saw someone commented on another post on here saying they received their order within a few days so called them again Friday and they said they had no idea why it hadn’t dispatched and would make sure it went out that day- which appears it did and tracking says should be delivered tomorrow 🤞🏻 there’s a load of other bits I want but waiting to see what turns up first to decide if I can be bothered to go through the hassle of another order- each time I phoned them it took 20 mins to just get through
I made 2 orders so I'll see if there's a difference in the delivery times
I made a large order on Friday and called them up today after reading the complaints and to See if I could order this book for my LEGO mad son and add it to my original order which still hasn’t been dispatched. I got through fairly quickly on the phone and she told me that orders that were placed 2/3 weeks ago were the ones that had been delayed due to a problem in the warehouse. Recent orders will be delivered within 14 days and all orders will be fulfilled. She was kind enough to let me order this book over the phone with free delivery and with 30% off at £2.80 fingers crossed it arrives now!
