It’s not the plastic that’s the issue as much as how it’s recycled or dispo …It’s not the plastic that’s the issue as much as how it’s recycled or disposed of. Plastic and it’s derived products are everywhere and it’s these necessary plastics that are part of the disposal and recycling issue. Not buying Lego won’t solve this. Disposing of all plastics sensibly will.

You could also argue that many will recycle their Lego sets by reselling them on years later. It's those generic plastic toys that have no resale value that is more of a concern. I am doing my best not to post any more deals like those on HUKD.

All of these (also via German amazon) were posted on here at the end of last week
I am avoiding buying unnecessary plastics, I urge others to do the same.

The architecture series has a second hand value for sure.
Dont forget Lego are changing all of their plastic to sustainable version by 2030. The only bit of plastic I think Lego should try and remove is the plastic bags they use to put the pieces in the boxes. I never keep those bags and just bin them nice little cardboard boxes inside the bigger box would be fab.

This stuff is complete tat IMO, so much plastic crap. Enough is enough, need to send a message and we all need to do our part.
Got this for our son for christmas.

Its a decent set at this sort of price (I paid £34 from Amazon last year), pretty good detail on the buildings for the size/scale of them.

Was a little disappointed with the Statue of Liberty though. Its literally a miniature sized lego figure. Think they could have at least added a little bit of the actual statues detail (raised arm, crown to head, etc), even at the small scale.
Just an FYI for anyone who ordered this, I noticed that my items actually shipped from down the road in Liverpool not Germany so I was able to get a refund for the shipping costs (I'm a prime member on .co.uk).
