LEGO Back to the Future 21103: DeLorean Time Machine £27.99 @ Smyths Toys

Put this in the kids section, but think most people buying this will be adults. This is part of the 20% (£34.99 full price) off all toys at smyths from today until Sunday so it's an amazing price for a cracking Lego set. I bought this in the Barnsley shop where there were at least 6 boxes left of the DeLorean Time Machine. This is a National deal in any Smyths store, but it isn't online unlike most other Lego sets this weekend.

Not many left in the Bristol branch. I picked one up earlier.

You built a time machine
Out of a delorean

Damn. Was 24 quid a few weeks back on Amazon...

Cold, i couldn't fit inside mine, let alone go back to 1950 something and snog my mum.

Yawn let's take every toy on smyths site and post as a deal as it's rrp less 20%

the lego one will probably be more well built than the actual car!

This is an awful model. Check google and you'll see people have made far superior versions of the same size, using basic Lego.

Really disappointed with Lego on this one!

I would say it's a great set, the instructions and box are most unlike any other lego set. The flaws in the design can be changed if people want to very easily. The minifigs are great and it's got great playability.

It's not a Lego design, its part of the Cuusoo range. These are customer designed and voted for on the Cuusoo community site. Once they hit 10000 supporters Lego review them (quarterly), and may agree to build them (to the original customer specification). The 'inventor' also get 1% royalty for every sale!

They have changed the design from the cuusoo spec.

Original by Japanese LEGO fans Masashi Togami and Sakuretsu, who created the Delorean and custom minifigs vs the official set designed by Steen Sig Andersen.
