I have looked all over for this at a decent price as it doesn't seem to be well publicised or readily available. Amazon UK are selling this for £28.95 and I haven't found it for under £25 on their website or elsewhere so far.

On further searching I discovered that Amazon.de have it for 33% off the rrp. @ £17.16. Ordering was straightforward and it arrived quickly. When I did my order i had to pay a p&p charge (around £3 i think) but it still worked out about £5 cheaper than ordering in the UK with Amazon and the cheapest i could find.
On checking before posting tonight I got right through to payment with no extra charge and didn't want to go any further just in case I ordered it again! it's not a massive saving on the scale of Lego deals but hope this might be helpful for F1 / Lego fans like my little man - especially if like me you didn't know it existed!

A nice find. I've been keeping an eye on this and the monster truck version as well. Ordering from the other Amazon sites is as much hassle free as UK Amazon. I've ordered from most of the Amazon sites in the past and if you use Google Chrome, that will translate the site for you. Even Amazon Japan, to a degree. You won't incure import duties from the European sites, but you will from outside Europe. Personsly I can't see Amazon UK selling many at their inflated price, so I expect the price to drop there at some point. From my experience, if you did want to order from a non UK Amazon site, it might be worth putting a second or third item in the basket, as the postage costs drops and in some cases the second item adds no extra postage costs compared to ordering one item. I hope helps.

Thanks my nephew will love this £21.00 Inc delivery. Didn't have a clue what it was saying just agreed to it all!

Smyths have it for £24.99 and claim it's exclusive to them smythstoys.com/leg…spx had a £5 voucher for use with a spend over £15 in the local paper this week so that brings it down to £19.99.

lol

I'd be tempted to buy this directly from shop.lego.com instead, plus a few other bits, just to get the free Christmas set and double VIP points

Personally I think this needs a big picture more than the Ann Summers threads.

If you've already ordered this month, you won't get another Xmas set.

Thanks OP.

Chris

It might be exclusive to Smyths in the UK. But guess how many F's the Germans give about Smyths??

(0 is the only right answer.)

Thanks for your info. I just copied and pasted any German phrases that I couldn't work out from using Amazon UK into Google and the translation popped up immediately - brilliant (and fun!). ordering was hassle free but wish i'd thought about adding something to the basket to reduce the p&p further as per UK orders! Good tip!

I think it was in the Smyths magazine that we spotted it but there isn't a Smyths anywhere near us so we had to pay p&p too which makes this a far better price. If there is one near you and you have the voucher probably just as easy as playing with German Amazon I guess! Thanks for the tip!

Glad this is good for some - I wasn't sure about posting as it as it isn't a massive saving compared to some Lego deals that have been on here but thought it was worth it because it doesn't seem to be a well known set, and why pay over the odds at Amazon UK?! Wish they did it in other colours / teams too my 6yo would not need anything else for Christmas then!!
