Be warned! This is the Lego where your child has to use his or her brain/imagination to build things!
Heat added.

But to be fair, it's really not the "imagination" lego of old. There are 1500 pieces, yes, but 500+ of these are so peculiar, they'd never be used to build a house, a plane or a car...unless you want to build "The Homer".

Hope you post a pic of what you’ve built with it by the end of the night haha

We have this box and you are right. Also lots of tiny pieces. We also have the previous xxl box which was better I think. But anyway for this price it is a steal.

The creative box I had 30 years ago was full of bigger bricks like 8 and 10 by 2 bricks that weren't intimidating. I've given it to my kids that are 5 and 3; they love using the set to build. Don't think I would know where to start with today's ones let alone my kids. I know they are by lego's standards too young anyway but as I said, even for me...

It had an official printed price on the shelf and scanned at £15. No local deal or manager’s special.

Very nice, enjoy. I was gonna go to Asda today but it was so big traffic I just left it. Might check on the 2nd. Not like we need more Lego
Been this price for a while (I posted it a couple of weeks ago :0)

Just keep an eye out if your local goes out of stock.

Have some heat
Does anyone rate the Wilko blox? Similar to Lego but cheaper. Cheaper plastic I suspect but can't really be any different? My little girl likes it in store and we can't afford Lego prices.

My son got a small blox set and it wasnt nice. If you could pick Lego sets up on offer would be much better. Or even used sets and once he built you pretty much get your money back. Hope this helps
I don't find the Wilko block fits together as well as Lego, but for the price, better to have this than nothing.

Blox tend to be on offer (70% off or so) after Christmas (a few weeks after) so would suggest to buy some sets then

It's not great but it's a reasonable alternative. The people in Blox sets are rubbish though
About blox. My son played happily with blox and Lego. He is now 8 and knows the difference and only wants Lego (Star Wars).
Cold. Wild goose chase.
I got this set for my child a while back but nothing beats ye old classic red bucket!
