Great deal. You can add a pick a brick for 2p which will get you to over £60. Crazy really as they ship them separately. But gets you over the £60

I know in store you'd often get them regardless as it's only one pence away.

Deal is quite good. But beetle does look weird. Will give that one a miss

Have to disagree about the Beetle, Bought it for more than this when it came out this time last year and it's an excellent model. OTOH the experience I had getting things delivered by the online LEGO store 2 years ago means I only ever buy at their 'real' stores - at least until I hear they've changged their delivery company (YODEL).

I love it, just wish I could justify spending this on myself.

This is a great deal and the nutcracker alone is selling for £20 on eBay so if you don’t want the gift it brings the price down even more

For myself I've had no problems with yodel in recent years especially now I got see see how many deliveries away the driver is to me.

Yeah £30 seems typical from the few that have sold so around £24 after postage/Ebay fees. Likely to be more if you can wait until next year. I don't normally re-sell, but don't really like the nutcracker so will use it to reduce the price of the Beetle. Makes it an excellent deal, especially if Quidco tracks, plus £3 VIP points too.

Quidco with Lego always tracks but it can take a few days.

Ordered thanks!

Bit annoyed I couldn't stack the £10 off voucher from Christmas catalogue. You can stack the free gingerbread man code.

Yeah, the nutcracker can't be combined with any other offer sadly. I'd already used the gingerbread man one anyway.

I usually find it a bit hit and miss with both TCB and Quidco. Usually the more expensive an item is, the less likely to track or be paid! I just treat it as a bonus anyway and don't factor it in when purchasing.

Wrong! The Nutcracker will be down to £10 on eBay by the time it's delivered as the market gets flooded. YODEL are so bad now that all 3 of my last shipments from LEGO are going back!

Explain what was wrong with yodel? I've not had problems with them for a few years now.

I agree and I'm glad it's not just me! If the cashback is a few pence to a couple of pounds - no problem; if it's a few 10s of pounds - then it's dubious; the one I should have had for more than £100 (a £2000 holiday at Expedia) strangely enough got rejected on a technicality. Caveat emptor.

Don't get me started! Your experience is obviously satisfactory but I can only report what happened to me 2 years ago: IIRC Lego delivery was meant to be one day, nothing arrived so I called Yodel in the evening to be told the delivery man couldn't find the address and it would be delivered the next day. (More likely it was late and he wanted to go home - nobody else can't find the address) Next day nothing arrives so I call them again to be told they had too many deliveries that day (IIRC) and it will be there on the next day. Next day, as luck would have it through the window I happen to notice a Yodel van driving up and down the street; so I go out and stand in front of the van and make it stop to get the delivery. To be fair, the contents of the parcel were in a good state.
I told Lego that I wouldn't be using their online store again until/unless I hear they're using a different delivery company.

Lets be honest pretty much all of the delivery companies are rubbish at some time or another. In the last 10 days I've had parcel contents stolen by UK Mail employees and the parcel re-taped, Yodel delayed despite being at the depot for two days, Amazon Logistics delivering at 9pm, Royal Mail not delivering at all because of postman sickness. The best service we've had overall is Hermes, which many people hate and DPD.

Unfortunately we all order so much online now that sooner or later something will go wrong with every company, especially at this time of year. Must be an absolute nightmare for the drivers. Still a pain when it happens though.

Perhaps this thread should be separated out; but to be fair I've never had any problems with Royal Mail deliveries and a bloke I know says the same thing about DPD that I do about Yodel. I'm excpecting/hoping for a delivery from DHL in a week or two ... wonder how that'll go?

My Quidco tracked fine at 11%

Still at this price today.
