Great price for a great lego set. Cheapest price I've found.

I feel an amazon price match on the way

It's the same price at Lego.com and you get loyalty points if you join the free LEGO VIP scheme. Plus, right now, lego.com is giving a free Limited Edition Gingerbread House.

It's a Lego / John Lewis exclusive, although oddly I think I've seen it in another toy store catalogue recently.

£74.99 is rrp - better off buying from lego.com and getting the free gingerbread house and 75 VIP points worth equivalent of £3.75.

Was on offer at lego.com in the last couple of months - picked it up for £67.42, plus gingerbread house and £3.37 worth of points on the 21st November.

£67.42 from where?

Thats RRP, same price @ Lego store, plus you get lego points and a free Gingerbread house at the mo. and 3% cashback.

A good set to buy tho, I recon it will be retired soon

Edit - lol great minds

Lego had it with 5% off as a sale deal and then a further 5% if you spent over £100 during the October and November promotions.

It's either Toys R Us or Smyths that it's about to appear in, as looked at both their printed catalogues this week. Can't see it online, but it's available at TRU.ca, so most probably it was TRU.

Worth checking Amazon Germany some of the resellers have not bad prices even with postage picked up the Camper Van for £65ish a few months back that way.

Better get that time machine again...

No need for time machine, will probably be in the January sale at the same 5% discount...

Oh, and I forgot that there is also cash back via Quidco, maybe others at Lego - but not at John Lewis. All brings it down to much cheaper than John Lewis, even at present.

I agree, this isn't the best deal out there. You could get the same item from the Lego Online store and get added perks not offered by John Lewis.

This RRP and as others have said if you buy direct from Lego you get VIP points and a free Gingerbread House. Sorry this is cold from me.

Some posters on here are really suffering from an under-developed cerebrum. Why on Earth post an "offer" that is not only RRP but, of less value than what you get from the manufacturer's website? Anyone who posts on here has internet access and you don't exactly need a first degree honours in quantum physics to come across LEGO's website and check their current prices, offers and freebies. Cooling added.
