Official Lego dimensions gaming capsule storage.

Had my eye on this, needed storage after the starter pack and level pack deals now I'm in abundance of dimensions figures and wanted somewhere to tidy them away.

Cheapest I've seen.

i picked up a tools/nuts and bolts separate compartment thing for about a fiver. Fits laods in! need another one now :'( lol

Videos online show this isn't big enough for most figures. Good price though

For anyone who has bought loads of Fun/Team/Level packs (and have started again this year), I found the multi compartment craft storage boxes in Home Bargains which are priced @ £1.49 for the smaller box & £2.49 for the larger box to be ideal and much better value than the official 'Gaming Capsule' which are normally £14.99, but on offer @ £9.99 on occasion (£10.87 now).

The only problem is that I personally couldn't the above storage boxes online, but most brick'n'Motlocal stores.

I must admit that I'd rather use 'Official' accessories, but I keep reading that some of the 'Lego Dimension' items just don't fit into the 'Gaming Capsule' unless you dismantle certain parts.

The great thing with the storage boxes from Home Bargains is that there is normally two sizes.

The smaller storage boxes are 270mm x 180mm and have 18 comparments (with removeable dividers) and are ideal for most of the characters without dismantling them (as long as you sit them down on their own base).

Identical box on HobbyCraft website is £5.00

The larger storage boxes are 355mm x 220mm and have 24 compartments (with removeable dividers) and are ideal for the vehicles and other accessories.

Identical box on HobbyCraft website is £8.00

So a bargain from Home Bargains if your local store has them.

Admittedly, you still have to dismantle/reconfigure some of the larger pieces, but these storage boxes cost a fraction of the RRP of the official 'Gaming Capsule' which are normally £14.99 (£10.87 ATM)

Thank you for sharing, great post!

I posted it on another thread a few days back and figured it may be of use to those reading this who'd rather spend their 'hard earned' on the actual Fun/Team/Level packs as opposed to 'Official' accessories in which to keep them.

thanks ordered

The problem with the official gaming capsule is some tall characters don't fit unless you take them apart. We bought one and found this out which stopped us buying more as it seems a major floor in the design

For the figures I bought some Nail Varnish holders from Amazon, they work great. They hold about 27 mininfigs.
