First post so normal 'be gentle' rules apply! My boy's been looking to spend his Christmas money since getting it and we've been looking for a dimensions starter pack at sub £50...

Went into smyths yesterday and they had none of the regular starter packs in stock, but showed me that I could order one from their website at £55...what they did have was the 'supergirl limited edition' starter pack for £74.99?!

So after doing some hunting round the net, we've found what appeared to be the regular starter pack for £49.99 on the Sainsbury's website...

Went in store to see if they had one on the shelf at the big Mansfield store, and low and behold they've got the supergirl pack for £49.99....no special offers, reduced stickers or the like, just their standard price!

So £74.99 in smyths, £49.99 in Sainsbury's- bargain, and one very happy 5 year old!

(Oh, I've got a photo of the receipt if I can work out how to upload it!)

It is a pity you didn't see this in Argos before Christmas when it were being sold for £29.99. All sold out now of course.

I saw this at argos for £30 and missed out on it, got it for £45 or this price also at sainsburys (also used the £60 'new' customer discount thing) even at £50 though would really recommend getting this games, especially the supergirl edition, she is so helpful during the game, if you are a completionist she can save a lot of money on other level packs/characters because of her abilities. overall though I do love this game

Shame you missed the cheap deals before the winter break. £50 was the price for ages and this has been out some time now. Hence the chill in here.

First off, yes it did go down to 30 but it's not now. Whip out the Delorean if you want those prices. If you're after it now (kids spending Xmas money etc.) then I don't know of a better price right now. Right now is what matters if you're a mithered parent. I'm sure prices will drop again, but when? Heat added from me, not that it helps much.

If you want it now, take a look on a price comparison site. You will see it's this price in a lot of places (Amazon included). This is cold because it was £30 not so long ago, granted it is no longer available but of course that will influence cold votes as it is the benchmark for hot deal.

it was 30 in a lot of places. Smyth's dropped first which is when I bought it. Gone it for our Xbone and the Supergirl version for our nieces. But it's not 30 now, it's unlikely to drop to that again for a little while now Xmas is over. Without a time machine, this is one of the best deals regardless of what it has been.

my son loves this he bought it for his wii u out of his christmas money had it in toys r us for £49.99 on boxing and the packs to go with them were buy one get one free.

I paid that price at Amazon the other day. Although having an issue with gremlins and A team pack constantly wanting to update letting me play then wanting to update again.

i bought this for my nephews for £30, they still not played, stupid sister got them Disney infinity instead

Just because this is the cheapest price today does not make this a deal!! This is the going price in most places and at £50 is not exactly a bargain, regardless if it has been £30 in the past.
