Nice repost from brickset.... @ £80 for the "free sets" I'm passing on them all nothing great and not paying full RRP for anything as just got the Coaster on double points.

Spreading the word, hence the point of HUKD? I've added the link to the BrickSet post

A fair point, but there's also set 40293 - Christmas Carousel to be released, which is a similar build to last years snow globe. My guess would be that this set, 40292, will be rather limited, considering its only available for 5 days.

No worries, it's just another name for the online LEGO Store.

Oh yes! Forgot about that one.. you might be right there This might just be a 'one off' limited edition (although i am sure the snow globe was also limited edition one off too...)

Nope - it was a one day thing where it came back in stock, so ordered as many as i could - sold out very quickly so wasn't worth posting
Why is this being posted? All LEGO fans and VIPs are well aware of forthcoming promos, which all seem to end up on eBay. LEGO should STOP promos and just offer extra VIP points.

If you ordered 50 you will be banned from SAH very shortly.

Not true, LEGO have never banned anybody in the UK and why would they want to lose 50% of their customers who are resellers? However, their policy is to send a maximum on 1 promo set per household. If you place multiple orders about 3-4 days apart you may be lucky and get 2 promos.

50% are resellers? That's your best one yet tabby

No I won’t. Haven’t been. It’s been a couple months already. Haha

I got banned and got reinstated with a phone call and been taking the P ever since. LEGO told me that resellers are the biggest market in the UK. I used to work for them and saw the figures for myself.

Actually, it's a bit more than that. If resellers are removed, LEGO goes under, it's as simple as that.

So you're still banned currently?

Read the comment wrong, what did you say to them?

I have always bought within their limits. I did say "you let me buy 99x 10197 Fire Brigades and 99x 10221 Super Star Destroyers from your website a few years ago so why is buying 20 of these a problem?" I also told them that resellers buy the majority of their sets and they did agree that most customers do, in fact, buy multiples. This could be why there's now more over-production and larger buying limits. I've even been cheeky and asked for 10 Snow Globes with a huge pre-Xmas order and they sent them without question. It never hurts to pick up the phone which social-media-obsessed people find hard to do ;-)
