Heat added but believe Lego should change the term retired to rested.

It’s not resting, it’s passed on, this set is no more, it’s ceased to be, it’s expired and gone to meet its maker, it’s a stiff, bereft of life, it rests in piece! If you hadn’t nailed it to the perch it’d be pushing up the daisies, it’s metabolic processes are now history, it’s off the twig, it’s kicked the bucket, it’s shuffled off it’s mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin’ choir invisible! THIS IS AN EX-SET!!!

I know not of this Ecto 2 of which you speak
I have ecto 1. There is no ecto 2
Ecto 2 is the motorbike. I'd be all over this if it was the original Ecto 1 and crew.

Aren’t they the same? I just thought the new one included the bike

Bucket loads of these available everywhere, Pimpmobile compared to original.
410 in stock price will drop if everyone holds the bus.

Every retired set is listed as out of stock on s@h. It won’t return
£50 now
Fantastic set which will sell for £100 soon. Buy them all, buy them all now
Set from a poor film no one will remember fondly. No one wants this at RRP, let alone inflated aftermarket prices in future...unlike the proper Ecto-1 from the proper Ghostbusters film.
Has now gone up to £50 well done Tesco.
By buying these from Tesco outlet it will mean the end of the crazy 3 for 2 deals on Tesco Direct .
Would strongly advise waiting for prices to drop substanially

I think he's referring to the fact Lego keep re-hashing "retired" sets nowadays.

Any LEGO set can return at ANY time, it's LEGO's new policy. The "LEGO Again" program launches in September this year when you can buy ANY "retired" set for it's original RRP plus 10% in a plain box with downloadable instructions. Those buying LEGO now in the hope of making money will be disappointed and stuck with junk they can't get rid of. And... LEGO are now considering banning the resale of their products at above RRP on eBay as they'll soon be having their own "LEGO Again" outlet on there. It's perfectly legal as any manufacture has the right to ban the resale of it's products. If you don't believe me, send me a PM, I have actual proof from LEGO themselves. Not you, Gareth!

Why not post it on here will go a long way to eliminating a lot of competition in one fell swoop.
Even Tesco are getting in on the retired Lego Act now time to find a new venture.

LEGO investing ended at the beginning if this year. It's not feasible anymore due to huge increases in production and authorised retailers buying extra desirable sets to sell after retirement. TRU started doing this and Asda has just offered more retired sets for sale. For those hoping to make a profit on eBay, don't waste your time or money as you'll make nothing after fees. Remember if you can buy a set cheap so can everybody else and retailers get them even cheaper. Some of Asda's sets were bought wholesale at over 75% off. I left LEGO investing last year, best thing I ever did
LEGO have the "Add to wishlist" option on retired sets so that they can resurrect them if demand is high enough. Sets exceeding RRP on eBay was in the past. Game over

Based on my own personal experience I'm happy to contradict you on this.
