Heat from me. That's a good price!

When you need to take out a small loan to pay for a child's toy... Then you know something is wrong.

Hot from me! Best price going!

Hmm Buy an Xbox one or this... Decisions

I hope for more discount, lime the porsche 911, thanks for sharing

tbh, I doubt many of these will be bought with the intention of giving to a child.

Best price at the moment for this item.

Clearly aimed at AFOLs.

surely something is wrong if one has to take out a loan to be able to afford this?

Best lego for money by far- great set, brilliant build and lots to play with, expensive - yes but for lego it's one of the best out there. Good price- hopefully drop to 200 and then the price would be spot on. very sturdy build too.

Wow why have I never seen this.... I guess there's only so many toys I can have tho before my missus leaves me for a man lol

I love the Lego kits, especially the Star Wars kits but price has always been an issue. I go for the clone kits off AliExpress and this is available as a clone kit and for a fraction of the cost. Never had any issue with any missing bricks and instructions are the same. Just search for Lepin and you will see whats available.

Pretty poor reply as there is plenty of peeps out there who would struggle to buy their kids £250 worth of stuff or one item. Some of us including myself could afford this no bother but not very fair on those who cant

What's the plastic like compared to real kits? No good it being half the price (plus duty and fees) if it's not nice.

Cant tell any difference between the clone brick and the original. The only thing which is missing is the logo.

I have just built the Star Wars Super Star Destroyer, it was delivered by DHL within 5 days and with no fees to pay. It is a large kit, over 3000 pieces and no pieces were missing.

I've bought a few kits and never had any fees to pay, the Millennium Falcon is next on my list, that's the Ultimate Collectors Edition that is currently on sale on Amazon for £5000. That's the beauty of the clone kits, makes it affordable for those who like the build and aren't bothered about future resale.

I'll give a small kit a go

Just been on that aliexpress website, so tempted to buy the Ghostbusters house at a fraction on the Lego price.

Surely if someone cannot afford £250 for a single toy then they also cannot afford £250 for multiple toys. However, they probably could afford £10 for a single toy.

Thus richer people can get the expensive, big toys and poorer people can get the cheaper, smaller toys. This isn't for poor kids (or adults) that cannot afford it. There are other toys for them. This argument is no different for toys, food, cars, clothes, etc.

It would be a very sad world if every product had to be affordable for everyone.

Good god I want this far too much.

Really wanted this till I watched this review... youtube.com/wat…cWY

ordered , thank you op

Yeah this isn't really for kids - my 3 year plays with it under some supervision. It's a great set, the level of detail inside is fantastic. Building the walls up is slightly repetitive but the interior makes up for that.

Some of us have those things called "job" and "salary". Give it a try.

When you need to eat "food" and wear "clothes" and pay "mortgage" and "bills" then maybe your "job" doesn't pay enough "salary" to buy a £250 "toy" no matter how hardyou "try".

£250 really isn't much more than average brit spends on night out every weekend.

Which sellers have you used on there?

I have used quite a few but I bought the big kit Star Destroyer from a seller called Jack Sun, came with an additional 8 Star Wars mini figures as a free gift. I will be using him again for The Millennium Falcon and Death Star.

Other sellers I have used include: Toys Whoesale, Zhao Chenlei,GUO GUO foreign trade firms and 80 Seconds Fairyland. To be honest as long as you look at feedback and number of orders, the are all pretty reliable plus Aliexpress hold any funds you pay and if you don't receive the item, you put in a claim and get your money back. I've personally used Aliexpress for years, only had issues with not receiving items on three occasions and on each I got my full money back.

Many people own a £500 TV and spend £50 every month on sky package.

I have neither, so I got some legos to build with the kid.

Life is full of choices.
