Can't afford...must...resist...
So tempted.....

Saw this a few days ago. So expensive so was thinking about it, but already sold out at my local because I can't C+C!
Thank heaven for a proper sale
As opposed to the tat fest on Argos.
Heat.
We got one on the first day for that price. Many stores don't have a lot of these in stock so check before you go. I also suspect that they will have been snapped up and put on ebay in many places!
I don't understand
I actually spent 149.99 the other day and got £30 off. The signs in store say it too so probably don’t need to add anything
From the comments on the other thread(s) regarding this deal, the extra 1p is not necessary to get that extra £10.

Understand what?

Why would anyone want it at such a cost?

Lego fanatics. I would buy it. I have a mini and beetle made of Lego

It seems so much though.
I just don't get it.

Then you my friend need to visit the Lego shops
Still expensive, what you do with this do you leave your kids to play with it or is it just for display to show off?. I would rather consider the Chinese fake Lego version if it is for the kids.
I must say I have this set and it’s the best build I’ve ever done and I do have sets to compete but this far the best and for £280 this is a bargain for the 2nd biggest set released

As with anything that is outrageously expensive, the main reason for having it, is because others don’t. That is what wealth is, the ability to afford lavish luxury. Personally, I love Lego, but I’d never spend more than about £80 on a set.
Micro figures?

I’m not wealthy I work in a shoe factory
Thanks bought it on Sunday. Invested some of my daughters money. As from what I've read on investment pages this could offer her a better return than savings accounts over the next 10 years 🤞

That’s ok then. So many people buy them and then open them. I’ve got tons of Coca Cola items which hopefully will be my retirement fund one day
