It's an awful set, no wonder it's cut so deeply so soon.

Completely. Destined to become a cautionary tale around LEGO HQ, I'm betting

How is it a good deal if it's overpriced?

Finally crumbled at this price. Decent amount of bricks and minifigs combined with GWP, double points and an excuse to get the World of Wonders. Can't see it being cheaper

You do get two goalkeepers, one for each side, but they are on the same stick as two other players.

I reckon if Lego produced a plastic brick turd then people would still pay £100 odd for it

    Its probably worst lego set

Honestly one of the strangest Lego concepts ever, I guess maybe they were testing the water. The RRP was crazy for a set like this. To put into context, the next playable set of a similar theme like this is probably the Lego Chess set (which is pretty cool btw if a bit repetitive to build) which is £55 for 1450 pieces at under 4p per piece. This set is 215 for 2339 pieces, a whopping 9p per piece. At half price we're down to 5p per piece but you get the idea. It isn't selling for a very good reason

Which lego chess set? I've just bought the 2015 pirates version for my son's birthday
