I would of purchased but then saw Zavvi. I returned a damaged in transit Lego set back in Jan which they confirmed received in warehouse but never refunded me. Messaged them over 10 times, false promises of a refund never materialised. Credit card company had to take it back from them in the end.

Zavvi let me down as well taking payment for a stormtrooper helmet and whomping willow set in Jan and then never delivering. Was not the only one like this so would be very wary of what stock they carry.

This is cute, but I’d need to be earning what Kevin’s dad earns to spend that much on Lego

Would make a great Xmas tradition to build though

You mean the real house isnt 27cm high?!

I for one am happy they manage to pack in so much of the film in the set. And 5-6p per brick is pretty decent value for a licenced set.

At the end of the day you could easily buy two sets and MOC a larger version if you wanted.

They also kept it pretty accurate with the original fan design which I think should be applauded.

I've always wondered why the Kevin House with £250 RRP isn't more accurate as the actual house is twice as wide, it's 7 windows across and this Lego is 5, missing off the massive left and right wing rooms

The Lego build would look even more impressive if done right

On my desk for a few days, or maybe as a display item for the Christmas period. Then you break them up and put them away to be built again someday. That's the magic of Lego - it never ends. Can't beat that for value for money.

Yeah and at some point Lego direct will have a deal that is as good if not better than the value of this one. So definetly not the best deal you'll see on this set

What's surprising to me is that amazing house sold about a decade ago for $1.6mil if I remember. If same house was in London, it'd be 100mil lol.

I purchased this back in December, it’s an easy build, very fun, plenty of references, very happy with it

I don't mind that, but I'm sure there's room for flexibility in that area if Lego wanted to make things more "accurate".

Also more bricks would = higher price therefore lessening the number of consumers willing to pay that much for a singular lego set. I would guess it would be £300 with the additional wings

Can’t believe this is being voted so hot when the retailer is Zavvi. Seriously?!

I thought they were banned from here and for lots of good reasons

Set would be twice the size, twice the price. Probably thought they may struggle to sell such a big set. What they should've done is have an add on set for the wings, that would've been cool.

I see Zavvi is the seller for anything and don't bother. They're great until something goes wrong, and then they're utterly useless to the extent of breaking trade law. Awful company.
