you'll get a £5 voucher too.

I'm afraid this is exempt from this offer as it is discontinued stock which needs to be cleared out.

The deal says all lego gets a voucher, just stand your ground

Yep, you could try that, but more often than not it will be declined as mentioned in the terms and conditions. Well done if you did manage to get the voucher though.

next time, print it out i guess.....when i went in, they looked it up on the computer while i was there and clearly saw it - so they phoned HQ and they were told the code to punch into the till to activate a £5 voucher.....dodgy old argos

oh, and then the products arrived from behind the scenes....only to discover one set had been used as a football at breaktime, and the other had been opened and 'lovingly' resealed by a complete muppet - needless to say, i had to then queue up for a refund for both....but i'm not bitter

The voucher doesn't automatically print out with this item because its a discontinued line, this happened to me the other so they manually gave me the £5 gift card.

Re £5 voucher. Same problem with the vouchers for the Unimog last year - head office sent a memo round I believe to tell managers to give them, but I still had a complete ****** of a manager who was rude and abusive about giving it (really should have made a complaint about him). Having been aware of problems getting the voucher from this site, I checked the t's and c's online to be sure - when he kept declining due to them being price reduced or clearance lines on Lego, I asked him where in the t's and c's it specifically excluded these and he told me he hadn't seen any. Did finally get it, but only after him handing me over to a supervisor (who was helpful), they couldn't authorise the voucher and had to call him back - he was absolutely appalling and stated to the supervisor that if he couldn't get it to go through the till as authorise first time he wasn't giving it, as if I wasn't even standing in front of him.

They have 1 in my local store. Can't decide whether to get it or not.

I had the same issue as £5 voucher did not print with the receipt. Manager was very helpful though, they rung HQ, got the details of how get round it until it if fixed on the system. She even wrote an instruction for the till people while my voucher was getting done. Needles to say I have spend it on other Lego set straight away. Any deals on LOTR Attack on Wheatertop?

Discontinued? ;_; Noooo. Time to order then.

I had to stand my ground to get my voucher today. They couldn't understand why the voucher didn't print out when I pointed out the massive signs hung around the store. They phoned head office and they authorised that I should get one.

The voucher also didn't print out with the receipt with me but the store manager knew there was a problem and entered a code from a sheet he had and I got the voucher.

I had the same issue and I stood my ground
The manager was not willing to give until I told her to call hq and that's when hq authorised it
The leaflet I found store clearly stated £5 voucher on all Legos brought over £30 in store

This is why I'll never shop in Argos. Can't stand the place.

yeah sure that is the reason
