This is being retired imminently. RRP is £139.99 so this is most definitely a good deal.

Lego Shop discounts often pale in comparison to other resellers. The recent BF sale was dissapointing imo with issues from overloaded servers, payment errors to sets selling out within minutes of appearing in the list.
agree, BUT, everyone forgets the Lego shop ‘extras’
free xmas tree (worth £15 at the moment)
lego points (worth almost but not quite a fiver on this)
other freebies if you spend a little more.

summary.
headline price at Lego.com may be higher
value at Lego.com is far more!! (For this item

Not quite, as you have to spend £120 at the LEGO Store to get the free Christmas tree. So you'd have to spend an extra £22 just to be eligible for that gift.

In store though you do get the Blank Friday brick, santa, wrapping paper/bag as well. Plus the xmas trees are making about £30 on the bay.

agree!, it's a pain, but then again, not everyone bothers to check HotUKdeals prior to purchasing and logging in with quidco / topcashback either....

It says so on the lego shop @ home website. It's in the retiring soon section. They're selling off the last of the stock in the warehouses.

All of the LEGO Movie 2 sets are being retired. In fact, most are already sold out in most places and will not be restocked.
