This is a bit of niche deal which I shouldn't imagine will get too hot, but if it helps one person then great. It does depend on you wanting the Lego Old Fishing Store 21310 and being a new account customer at Very as there is a £30 off code.

The Old Fishing Store is already reduced at Very to £109.99, which is the cheapest around just now and £30 off rrp. Any new credit customers to Very can use the code LXK3E to take another £30 off the price which brings it down to £79.99, by some distance the cheapest I've seen it. There is the potential for 11.55% TCB too, however only one of my last purchases tracked and that at the wrong amount. The other didn't track at all and is being chased up so don't build any TCB into your buying decision! Next day Click and Collect at a local store is free.

I was a little reluctant as I don't like any form of credit, but it was simple to do, reduced the price immediately and I paid the lot off immediately once the sets arrived.

I managed to pick this model up for £109.99 before Christmas and it's simply the best Lego set I've built. The parts content is incredible for anyone who likes to MOC, Just over 4p a part with the above price and there are some rare and expensive parts in there. I've got plenty of ideas for a harbour-front scene so snapped two more up at this price.

Now reduced to £109.99 - £79.99 with £30 off code Thanks again Papnez

Actually Lego was pretty crap way back when I was a kid. Each to his own anyway. I don't drink or eat rubbish food, but neither do I see the need to make facetious comments on alcohol or Krispy Kreme donut deals or vote them cold.

Very nice set! Have some heat! Have bought too much Lego lately but dam this is tempting 🤔
Good deal but VERY are a real pain when something goes wrong.
it's a good idea that has been used for many deals, if you don't mind extra credit checks.

I'm sure they are. Wasn't sure myself, but figured it's not something electrical that might pack up. If there any issues Lego will sort it out directly.

Never had anything go wrong and so far experience with them has been great.
Anyone having problems with upgrading account to credit-thingy? I keep getting declined
Thanks for posting. I've been wanting one of these for a while now. Great deal, heat added.
OP I would pay your account off but leave it open. Their marketing people seem to send offers to inactive accounts, I think I remember getting £50 or £35 off £100 spend after about 3 months.

I finished today too. Been taking it slow. Didn't really want to finish. I reckon there's a tavern, a lighthouse, a dock and a boat shed for my New England seafront and a winter church for my Christmas village in the two new sets with just a few additions. It's a brilliant set for MOC's. I can't really see it coming cheaper than £90. If it does I'll just have to get a couple more

You're welcome. Thanks for sharing the deal! I've done very account sign up bonuses for both myself and the Mrs now otherwise I'd be on it!

Lego was never crap. It used to be for people with a bit of imagination to create things, these kits just mindlessly follow assembly diagrams.

Shame. I could have bought an extra one if I'd known. Imagine you aren't far away given your user name

And they've been raising the prices accordingly. £96 for a bit of injection moulded plastic is a total rip-off. They put these sets in huge boxes with the pieces split into oversized plastic bags. Once you've emptied the parts from the bags they take up about 5% of the volume of the box.

£140 RRP is just ridiculous!

I read somewhere that one of the Star Wars sets has a RRP of £600 FFS!!! You can buy a half decent car for that kind of money, or two/three weeks skiing!!!
Thank you. Been dying for this set and although won’t get my vip Lego points well worth saving £40. Picking up tomorrow!!!!

Took me around 10 hours, but did it slowly and just a bit at a time over a few days. Spent much of the time thinking about all the other things I could make with the parts if I had another set. Now I have three.........

It's probably the best set I've ever done, that or the Saturn V, but I think the detail and care in this one won out.
I’ve just finished the Disney castle and that took quite a few days and it’s fab and a labour of love. Have you seen the ship in a bottle coming out feb?
33037975-tOzCO.jpg
It was good in the day and people doing it then still have a interest in making stuff be it lego, 3d printing, woodwork etc. also sinclair gave people basic programming skills at an early age.

Most kids nowadays want a phone. Thay dont know how to make things hardware or software. I think it was a great time to be a kid as there seemed to be so many things that got your mind working. resin kits, weaving kits etc.

Never a great Disney fan to be honest so the castle, whilst impressive, doesn't really appeal. I've seen one lit up beautifully though with an after market light kit. I've seen the advance photos of the ship in the bottle. I know plenty of people like it, but it hasn't grabbed my attention at all. Might be different in real life.

I prefer to design and make my own things, but the Fishing Shop was a must buy. The parts in it are amazing for the money.

The children that that Lego was originally designed for, are now the middle aged men you speak of!

My sets arrived today as promised. Both individually boxed so no box damage issues, not that it matters as they are both for parts. No problems at all with Very I'm pleased to say. Paid the credit off, but will keep the account open as suggested by canaryruss just in case a voucher is forthcoming.

haha and after a Lego session their mums still make them a milky drink and read them a story before bed.
Ok so I just got this for £89.99. There's a better code at very. LXK3E gets you £30 off. See here very.co.uk/vou…age

Been dithering about it for a few days, but getting £50 off RRP swung it for me. Also tried 7.07% at TCB, see what happens with that....

Big thanks to the OP for this imaginative bargain! Reckon I'll build it with the kids, then we'll destroy it and make some more nautical stuff!

Oh should also mention that code is only for new credit accounts too.

Well done, that's even better. Annoying, though still happy with just over £90. I'll amend the OP

During a Lego session I drink good single malt. I spend the evenings with my son spending quality time building whatever comes into his 5 year old imagination. He thinks of things that make me smile. We go to the loft and he selects parts from our old Lego from being kids and it all still fits with his new Lego. My daughter joins in but at 2 she just plays with the mini figures. We have music on and he asks what it is. It could be The Doors or Zepplin or anything. We all talk and don’t need tablets or tv or vacuous BS. I love Lego and the connection it helps bring with my children. No Mother made milky drinks here. But it often reminds me of being a happy child with my parents letting my mind run wild

Not sure what that has to do with grown men buying expensive kits to build themselves by following easy diagrams.

Yes I do assume that. But I if you are doing what I think you are doing (ie buying yourself a toy to play with whilst your kids are playing), then that is probably even stranger.
It’s strange that I engage with my children using Lego as a medium?

Far healthier than taking them to Pizza Hut or buying them video games and having no interest in what they are playing or doing

Today spent no time with Lego. But enjoyed learning about attraction and repulsion with magnets. Built a princess castle. Used kinetic sand to enjoy indoor castle building. Climbed trees and had fun in the park.
Went to shops and learnt reading and maths. Painted our nails and applied stickers to be like my little pony. Prepared and cooked dinner together. Even managed to watch tv. But I’m sure you think that is all strange too

I'd guess most of the people who repeatedly troll on here and on other deals didn't have a parent like you. Had they done, they would be out doing something more constructive.
