Recently posted at £6.23 in Argos and £8 in Hamleys. Nice set and a steal at £4 IMO.

I bought at £6.23. Oh well...

Great deal - no longer on the Lego website so looks like it's discontinued. (I ordered one from Argos at £6.23 but it arrived in a plastic bag squashed flat (the postie easily got it through my letter box!) so I'll return it; Amazon packaging is much better.

Yeah, mine were from Argos as well, and the boxes were completely wrecked. Looked too badly damaged to have been done with the letterbox. Very Disappointed in Argos. As you say, Amazon should be better.

Thanks for another random impulse buy (used the last 52p from my flamedeer voucher too)

ordered thanks :-)

Excellent bargain - my five year old LOVES Lego.

Gon eup to £6.99 now plus post cost

Didn't send my Argos ones back...so I didn't buy off Amazon, just thought I'd share the find. I did buy a small lego pharaoh's quest set though, and it arrived squashed (looked like Royal Mail's fault). At least Amazon put it in cardboard, Argos put their's in a plastic bag.

Complained to Argos customer services about their packaging. After much emailing backwards and forwards (they kept telling me I could exchange instore but not acknowledging stores don't have it, or that I could return but didn't give a return address!) they finally phoned and said I could return to store for a refund.

Tried ordering a replacement but it arrived just as squashed. I'm tempted to order all their stock and then return all of them just to make the point about inadequate packaging because Argos really don't seem interested (it seems most people just accept it).

It's back at £4 on Amazon so I've ordered one from them.

Wouldn't use Argos direct again.

Neither would I for something like this, I mean if it was a bigger set as a present for Christmas or birthday it would just be a complete waste of time. I be embarassed to give something in this state as a gift.
