Careful, if the price goes up they will cancel the order; then you'll be left with an even higher price than the Amazon one.

It's worth ordering form Amazon too; at least you can cancel the Amazon one at any time.

Hope you receive it from Flubit, ordered a game via them the other day and cancelled the amazon order. Yesterday flubit cancelled the order due to lack of stock from their supplier. Considering items get supplied from other online retailers which have it in stock leads me to believe they actually couldn't match it! Wasn't happy considering the original Amazon order has now gone up in price.

Ages 9-14.

Pfft. Fun is wasted on the youth.

Yeah they've cancelled on me a few times before too, and i think they will on this one as it's not actually in stock at amazon, also a lot of the time the orders are fulfilled by amazon themselves, so they are in effect beating their own prices!

They always do it; the second the original price goes up they will cancel the order and claim that they don't have any stock left.

Make sure you place your order with Amazon too; then cancel the Amazon order when you get your flubit order.

Otherwise you get left without anything and a higher price.

Anyone that has this. Is it better than the Millennium Falcon? I really enjoyed building that.

What do you mean by "dodgy"?

What do you mean by "dodgy"?

A bit naff, not very interesting, massively overpriced... Just my opinion of course!

Try and get Lego set 6211 from a well known bid site or some such, better than this newer model! Bigger model and better selection of figures!

I've ordered on Amazon aswell. Only just started using flubit so hopefully will get all the items

Fair enough - when you said "dodgy" I was concerned that there might be other problems such as the model easily breaking apart or poor quality pieces!

Probably not overpriced for the amount you get at £80 - well not more than any other Lego anyway. I've not seen it in real life so judging the level of naffness is tricky. I certainly prefer the pictures I have seen of this model to the garish plastic they have used on some of the newer Star Wars sets. I guess how interesting you find it will depend on how much of a Star Wars geek you are!

What happened to the concept of letting your mind create amazing castles or futuristic automobiles with LEGO? Now it's follow a step by step instruction booklet and extract minimal fun from the exorbitant blocks haha!

No. It's a great way to relax after a bad day at work, albeit an expensive one. I think I've spent about £2000 this year alone on Lego Star Wars. Just ordered 2 train sets and extra track for Christmas.

Cold because it is Star Wars? are you serious !!

Think I might have to make an accidental purchase of this. Will look great in the home office (not sure I'd get away with on the bookshelf in the living room!)

God id love this!

my wallet can't repel a deal of that magnitude!

Agreed, it's not up to the standard set by the Super Star Destroyer but it's not £350.
Tempting at £80, but having already brought the AT-AT for Christmas I'll probably resist.

Im currently building the SSD 10221 set, around 5 hours in and not even half way, a brilliant set though and am really enjoying building it.

Build as of about 4 hours in last night

This was £115 in Toys R Us so looks like a good deal
