Great price for this set
Great price. Just got from Tesco last week at a similar price after a long wait.
Great price from lego directly, with my VIP points it was even cheaper. Thanks
On back order ! So excited !

Both Selling and buying at this price .
Funny thing is, the free polybag was going for up to £100 round Christmas time when people got early packets

Why is somebody a fool for selling at this price?
If you are going to build and aren't fussed about the box, you can get some great pieces through eBay. I paid £65 for mine.

as low as £59 if you buy from Tesco and 4x your CC points.

Could you elaborate please?
snatch_master

If you buy it from Tesco online for £102.08 they give you CC points worth … If you buy it from Tesco online for £102.08 they give you CC points worth £11.02. You can then exchange these for something like £44.08 of Bella Italia coupons or any of the other CC boost options. So, if you planned to go to BI anyway or something similar it brings the real cost of the Falcon down to £58. Even if you use the CC vouchers at 1x against your shopping the price is only £91.06 which is not that much more than Lego if you really need it today.Apologies if my post made it look like you could 4x your CC points on the actual purchase of the Lego.

Dont think many will make much money from Lego anymore with the amount of investors,
I bought Ecto with the idea of a mantle piece but ended up giving it kids after id built it

That was until last year, LEGO sets no longer increase in value. Have you noticed the drop in values of once desirable sets?

I've noticed this. I think it is still possible to make the odd £20-30 here and there if you get a set cheap and flog it just after retirement but unless you do this en mass there is no real money to be made. Hugely overpriced sets such as 10221 are coming down in price but lower priced by comparison sets like 10240 are going up, eventually everyone who wants these will have them and the market will collapse. As for buying anything current as a long-term investment, that is a complete waste as when you come to sell it in 30yrs time there will be a lot less original Star Wars lovers around and you will be competing against 1000 other sellers who all had the same idea, mainly due to silly press releases about Lego being a better buy than gold etc.
