    @gootti Retired sets often increase in value, but it means nothing unless you can sell at that higher price down the road. Bit of gamble in my view, though I'm sure others may think differently. (edited)

    Wow I’m looking at it as an investment too. Do you have insight into how Lego’s perform. I wanted the Homer Simpson one but they are all double triple in price. How do you know what and when to buy.

    Really, really enjoyed this and with very minor mods the less removable parts of the top don’t fall off!

    I can’t imagine how big the instructions/text book is for this 7,500 piece monster! Should keep someone busy for a year or so
