What a piece of junk!
So there is only 1 of these on display in the store? And it looks like its got a damaged box, with no more in stock at this price anywhere in the UK it seems, and yet this deal has got to over 500º?

I've been building this since I picked it up in May 2019 for £520. On bags 13 of 17 and put 26hrs in thus far. Its such a good build just wish I had more time.

Best price I’ve seen.
It will fly off the shelf at that price - ( puns lol )
Imagine building this, then dropping it on the kitchen floor

Your old kitchen floor... as you couldn't afford the new one your wife wanted after purchasing 12 of these.

I feel very dumb now lol, thank you for sharing.

(I call myself a Spielberg, Ford, Williams and Lego game fan, and study physics, yet have never watched Star Wars. I really want to though.)

None in Birmingham New Street store

The Birmingham store is awful for it LEGO selection I prefer Solihull's John Lewis, much more stock and feels bigger.
very cheap!

I would hope the Kitchen breaks..
I like John Lewis and will always buy from them, all other things being equal.

But their sales are pure bulls**t, especially on the tech side. They just put out all of the stuff that has been returned to them since the last sale with a minimal discount and a tiny label saying "used".

This will be one of those.

I am surprised the mods are not more savvy and killing John Lewis "sale" deals at birth.

I used to work for John Lewis years ago and you are right to an extent, most of their sale stock is kept in a separate warehouse all year round and wheeled out each year during their 'clearance'
I've seen this box sat there for the last few weeks.

This set is missing its stickers and instructions, hence the price.
