I appreciate your efforts OP, you’re very active for the Lego community and that is definitely welcome. Do you have a method to check foreign Amazon sites? Or do you just do it manually?

Based on the price of similar sets, I doubt very much that this will fall below £500. The whole point of this forum is to post items that are either the cheapest that they have been, or cheaper than usual. There will always be dissenters who think that Lego is overpriced, but I don't see why we should treat Lego any differently. I appreciate all the posts on Lego.

Just click on the flags to go to the different country's sites, then set up "Amazon Price Drop Alerts" on whichever products you're interested in.
Hot from me as £2 cheaper than the last Amazon uk deal which has shipped from Italy anyway, might ask them for the £2 back

I believe you are missing the point of this website entirely. You're not alone sadly, this is why so many deals (usually higher priced items) Seem to go cold undeservedly.

Have a little heat from me OP just to bring it back a little....

You would need a lot of money AND a lot of space!
Lego compatible sets can be obtained from Aliexpress for considerably less, but aren't regarded as collector's items. If it's just the challenge you're after then worth a look I guess.

No way Jose I’m afraid it’s Lego or Le-no for me. I understand the appeal but firstly it’s not the same to me, having a knock off product, secondly I love TLG, and thirdly I definitely don’t support stealing intellectual property.
Its over £100 cheaper on a recently aquired official lego site, plus shipping. New and Sealed.

Cheapest is a shop in Norway which comes in at £555 delivered once you add VAT and there will no doubt be a customs fee too.

It's actually works out about £548 now so i asked Amazon to give me the £7 and they said they would prefer I refused my parcel which they would get sent back to Italy and let me order another one from Italy....they're really doing their bit for the environment there. I guess they gamble on my bluff, fools.

That’s standard procedure for Amazon I’m afraid.
