Been waiting 2 months for this price drop done and dusted at jump to light speed!

No, you are not old enough yet.
Great been waiting for amazon to reduce this set. Ordered for me and my boy. Have some heat.

Never to old for Lego, 40 years old here, although it helps when you have a 4 year old son.

No - go for it!

Oh i am so tempted by this, my son who is 7 would love it but i've already shelled out on lego starwars for him this crimbo mmmm decisions decisions
Good sturdy model for playing with - unlike some Lego Star Wars kits that fall to bits as soon as you look at them.
money monster

£80 for lego?!

Thats nothing, you could go for the new Lego Super Star Destroyer at £349.99 or the slightly less expensive Death Star at £274.99

A lot of people seem to be buying this and then selling the characters on fleabay for good money making the model a very attractive price
can it do the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs though?
Hope the price holds till I get home to convince the wife we need one.

That's all very nice, but this thread is about a Lego set.
Seems like a lot of money for a box of plastic bricks that probably cost a few quid to make.

Yes, much like a DVD seems like a lot of money for a plastic disc that cost about 2p to make. There's more to it than the cost of manufacture.

Just looked on TRU's site and they don't sell the millenium falcon, (online anyway)
Amazing, my son so wants this!!
Thanks so much, just ordered, great deal! I've just ordered this for my son, he really wants the falcon, however I think he will be a bit disappointed that I haven't bought the Deathstar, but it's just too much for me I'm afraid.
