Well chuffed. I went to Smyths to pick up a Stars Wars Advent Calendar for my boys and before I purchased I asked the salesgirl if they had any money off vouchers etc not expecting that there would be any.
She gave me a promotional A4 size leaflet with various offers advertised and on it was a voucher for £5 off a £15 or more spend valid from 1/10/11 to 18/10/11.So I got the calendar for £14.99 !
They normally keep these where you sign up for the free catalogue but the girl got me one from under the counter.
£5 off £15 is well worth a heads up if you are buying anything instore at Smyths as it can be used on anything.
If you can't see it its worth asking.
(I've scanned the voucher. It should come up as the deal pic if I've done it right.)
Many thanks to miffyl who posted the other Star Wars Calendar deal as I wouldn't have found it without you!.

P.S This was also eligible for the 'On-Shelf Promise' so if are going to the store check stock and print yourself the promise voucher from the website. That way if it was out of stock when you got there you would get a free £7 voucher.

They also had the Thomas Trackmaster Zip Zoom Log adventure playset for £39.99 which seems a good price and the Hot Wheels Mega garage for £24.99.Even better if when you take the five pounds off from the voucher

Thanks for the heads up. Good deal.
Ouch, wish this had been posted a few hours ago, as I just ordered online for £20

Hot though.
Broke til payday! Arghhhhh
great!
Not one close to me, rubbish I take it this is in store only?

Super hot though.
Has anyone else got the voucher? Hoping to try tomorrow for one, I signed up to the xmas catalouge when my local store opened a couple of weeks ago but never got one of these vouchers.
It'd cost me more than a fiver in petrol to get to my nearest Smyths and back. Fortunately, they're the same price online. Going to order mine now. Hot for if you live really near a Smyths though.

No, I'll save more than a fiver by not driving to Smyths and back. That was my point.

None near me, but very good find, cheers OP.
Back in my day you were just pleased to look at a small picture in your advent calendar, not even a chocolate. This looks ace though

been to local store, they didn't know anything about the sign up for voucher, but I printed the one from page one of this deal and it scanned through...even though it says no photocopies. Result..
My £20 one arrived today (next day delivery). Thankfully no store anywhere near me so no buyers remorse
Just been down to Smyths store Wigan - they didnt know anything about the voucher - I explained it had been on hot deals and the manager offered to knock the 5.00 off anyway. Happy Days!
Is the lego made of chocolate? If not, then fail.

£20, £15 its still ridiculous, i dont think ive ever spent over £1 on a choccie advent.

and i know these are toys and everything, but you cant even reuse it next year can you?

im glad i dont have kids, because they would be most annoyed with how much i spent on trivial things for them lol.

Do you re-use your choccie ones?
i take they are miniature models otherwise it would be massive?
Mate that's cool, I'd have one of these for me self if I wasn't such a tight ass

why would you want o reuse the cardboard box?

do you not think the contents are the attraction with this?

each mini figure is loved by kids and you may be suprised to find, many adults collect the lego mini figures, especially the starwars ones.

great price hot
I wanted to buy some more Cars toys for Xmas if they had any offers come up. Don't want to make the trip though if the stores aren't all definitely giving out these vouchers...
no luck with the voucher, but still got it for £20.... 28 day return just in case i change my mind.
thanks
No vouchers in Team Valley store, they said its only the low turnover stores that have them.

you can actually slide the tray out of the package and use the toy without opening each door. as for it being trivial I think you will find most kids love lego, and tbh good job you dont have kids as no doubt you would end up buying them a hoop and a stick for them to play with
Went teeside one they knew nothin. Cs was quite snotty. Good deal tho if can get it
have reserved one and will ask about the vouchers, thank you
